Hey friend,

AMIE is conducted by Institution of Engineers (IEI) and this degree is being recognized by Government of India.The are 2 types of process which are being held and they are:

1. Technical
2. Senior Technical

The eligibility for the AIME is that for joining in Technical you would need to have done a degree in any stream other than Diploma with at least 45%.

And if you want to join in Senior Technical process,then you should have completed a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or its equivalent, in any branch of engineering to be eligible.

If you are going to satisfy these criteria then you can join in AMIE.

This is conducted normally in the months of May/June and November/December.There are 2 sections namely Section A,Section B.

You should pay a Fees of Rs.2000 in favor of "The Institution of Engineers (India) Payable at Kolkata
