The Diploma in Electronics Engineering is a three years course with 6 semesters. The number of subjects and syllabus will be different in each state. There are about 8 subjects (including practical) in semester 1 & 2. There are 7 subjects (including practical) in semester 3 & 4. There are 6 subjects (including practical and project) in semester 5 & 6. The study materials and books will be provided by the institution itself. The aspirant should study well to score good marks and follow the classes properly.

A diploma is a 3 years course, divided among 6 semesters.

In each semester there are 5-7 subjects, depending on the university in which you are studying.

The grand total of the subject goes to 30-42.

Adding to this, there are 3-4 practical exams per semester.

So, diploma course is not very easy to do.

Also, there are no certain books, as you have to read from many books recommended by your faculty. But I would advice you to first clear your basics and then go for standard text books.
