Hi Sir, I have 51 marks in MHT CET and HSC board 56% and VITEE rank 190165 and I also have 5 certificates of classical music from the A.B.G.M.V Mumbai and state level hand ball sport certificate and intermediate grade drawing examination certificate and my SSC board percentage 72.40. I want to get direct admission to diploma second year. Please give me your best response wish you so much.

To get admission in Diploma second year on sports quota, you should have passed 12th standard or two years ITI course from a recognised board. For getting admission in Diploma second year, you should have to appear in lateral entry examinations like VOCLET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of technical education. By qualifying the entrance examination and participating in the counselling process, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college for pursuing Diploma second year.

There are some colleges, which offer admission on sports quota and you can apply for those seats based on your qualification. Just make sure that you have the documents to prove your sports credentials.

Just apply for entrance exam and if there is an option for sports quota category, you have to select it. Everything will be according to your performance in the entrance exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board are eligible for admission directly into 2nd year of 3 years Diploma in Engineering course, provided those candidates must appear and qualify in lateral entry exam conducted by their respective technical state board.
Since you already have given MHT-CET exam, so I would suggest you to participate in counselling.
There is no such process of getting admission into 2nd year of 3 years diploma programme on the basis of sports quota, however through sports quota you will get an edge in counselling. During the counselling you need to provide your sports certificate and other related certificates to get an edge from it.
