There are many government based jobs available for you in various PSUs like GAIL, BEL, BHEL, Coal India, SAIL and many other companies. These PSUs mainly recruit technicians on the basis of Diploma Engineering qualifications. You can apply for job when the notification is released bu them, the notification is released individually by the company.

You can apply for other jobs also like Junior Engineer posts exam which is mainly conducted by staff selection commission. Indian railways also release jobs for Diploma holders. You can also apply for job in Indian Air force in Group X technical trade. Selection in government job is based on written exam and interview. So be prepared for it.
