I have passed diploma in computer science & engineering. And i want to get admission in amie. I have less knowledge about it. So please tell me all knowledge about amie?

There is no entrance exam for AMIE registration. All you need is diploma in engineering qualification from a recognized institute or college. You have to apply for it when registration is open on a prescribed format.

Hence, apply for registration through their official website and send the application with all the relevant documents. You will receive the registration details from the IEI.

To get admission in AMIE after completion of your three years Diploma course in Computer Science and Engineering, you need to AMIE membership by following the below mentioned admission procedure :-

Admission Procedure :-
1. To take admission in AMIE, you need to apply for Senior Technician membership by obtaining the membership application form from the Institute.

2. After filling up the Membership form with your details, the photograph and educational qualifications will be verified by a 'Supporter'. Anyone with AMIE/ MIE/ FIE grade will be considered as a 'Supporter' and if all the details given by you are verified and found correct, you will be offered admission in AMIE.

Amie is a professional degree course conducted by the institution of engineers(india) and recogsonised by mhrd upto 31/05/2013.post 31/05/2013 enrolled students recogsonisation case is pending in delhi high court.
In this scenario you if you want to take admission then go the sites of iei and download membership form of st grade and meke a dd and submit it to any iei local centre near by you.
