Information About AMIE

► AMIE stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers.

► A unique Programme wherein you can Attain an Engineering Degree, If you have Lost the Opportunity to do so Earlier.

► After Passing AMIE, Students can also appear for IAS or IES Exams, GATE as well As for MBA degree for Higher Degrees (all these which require a min qualification of a UG Degree)

► AMIE is Recognized by both Central and State Governments, So a Candidate who has Passed AMIE can Also Appear for JOBS which are Open For BE degree holders.

Information about AMIE :

AMIE stands for associate member of institute of engineers .
It is an engineering degree course recognized by all state governments , central govt,UPSC etc as equivalent to B.E/B.Tech

Qualification :

A recognized 3 years polytechnic diploma or equivalent any engineering branch
+2/HSC/PDC with physics , chemistry & maths with min 45% marks

How to Join :

Appearing AMIE examinations , one should get membership with institution of engineers.
in order to get membership you should apply in the prescribed application form.
application forms available any one of the local centres of institute of engineers at a cost of 100/-

Subjects in section examination are :

Diploma stream :

material science & engineering
fundamentals of design & manufacturing
computing & informatics
society & environment

Non-diploma stream :

Fundamentals of design & manufacturing
engineering mathematics
electrical science
mechanical sciences

TO COMPLETE AMIE COURSE HOW MUCH MONEY WE SHOULD SPEND INCLUDING ADMISSION AND BOOKS.

Can I do full time MBA from a reputed college like Symboisis Pune ,PUMBA, etc ?
Because I was refused by ASM pune to take admission for their full time MBA course, saying AMIE students are not eligible

i passed sec a this year n am ready to give exams of sec b. on 9/4/2013 i recieved registration form of sec b but there is one problem that i not doingjob in engineering field after diploma but i am doing job as a data entry operater in ministry of home affair.
in sec b registration form there is a option to fill CERTIFICATE OF ENGAGEMENT (means with wich organisation you are doing engineer job). what can i do now, sir? Also I want to now registration fees of sec B

i filled examination form with demand draft and submitted it. now i checked out by mistake i filled a wrong subject to appear for coming winter exam 2013. i want to give optical and satellite engineering exam instead off designing of electronic circuits. How can i change my subject?
