Why Himachal Pradesh government doesn’t consider my diploma in civil engineer from IGNOU?


I am working in Himachal Pradesh Government HPPWD Department and passed out June 2010 from lGNOU in civil engineer Diploma But Himachal Pradesh Government is not consider. Tell me that in my fracture.

Diploma in civil engineering is a technical course and mostly it needs AICTE approval, which is only available to regular diploma courses. IGNOU being an open university only offers distance courses, which are approved only by UGC.

Hence, your diploma is only approved by UGC and government jobs which are technical, will ask for an AICTE approved diploma only.
