Hello sir, I am BPL card holder and I want to apply for an education loan to study Engineering course. Please tell me can I get interest subsidy being a economically backward candidate? How much benefit I can get?

According to central government education loan subsidy scheme, those who are pursuing professional course on education loan are eligible for interest waiver, if they belong to a poor family.

You need to submit an income proof certificate to the bank, where you have got your education loan. According to this scheme, you don't need to pay any interest on education loan.
