How to switch to Lecturership from Banking sector?
Dear Team,
I HAVE COMPLETED UGC NET & JRF IN 2006 and CURRENTLY I AM IN BANKING SECTOR BUT I WANT TO CHANGE MY PROFESSION. I WANT GO IN LECTURESHIP SO PLS GUIDE ME HOW CAN I FIND SUITABLE JOB FOR ME. I GOT SCHOLARSHIP RS.10000 FROM UGC WHEN I FINISHED JRF WHICH WAS EXPIRED 2008. PLS LET ME KNOW CAN I GET SCHOLARSHIP NOW IF I WANT CONTINUE WITH STUDIES. THANKS SUNITA |

Candidates have to clear the NET or SET examinations to become a Lecturer in colleges or they have to qualify PhD to become an Assistant Professor in colleges. Candidates with the above mentioned qualification can apply for lecturer post in various colleges. Candidates with experience in the teaching industry are preferred for the lecturer post. It is very difficult to change profession from banking to teaching. Candidates with teaching experience can only manage as lecturers. There is also a state level recruitment for the lecturer post through State Level Eligibility Test (SLET). |
