After passing 12th standard, one can join clerical cadre job in banking sector. The clerical Exam generally conducted by SBI and IBPS(Institute of Banking Pesonal Selection) for 19 Public Sector banks.

The eligible candidate wishing to join SBI/IBPS Clerical job, must be an Indian Citizen having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with 50% marks or having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 18 to 28 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good command over computer operation.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview.

One thing I would like to tell you, The minimum educational requirement for the IBPS (INSTITUTE OF BANKING AND PERSONNEL SELECTIONS ), is a graduation degree from a recognized college. According to the new minimum eligibility criteria ,just only 10+2 degree holder, are not eligible , even for the clerk posts .You can apply for the IBPS or any other bank's post, only with the graduation degree.
And percentage is not the matter of concern any more..You just have to pass the minimum qualification examination.

Exam pattern-

The age limit for this examination is 21-30 years,.
there are 3 & 5 years of the age limit relaxation is applicable for the reserved categories.,
like 21-33 years for the OBC candidates,
21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates,...

Thank you!!!!

## And the educational qualification required to apply for SBI PO, IBPS CLERK and PO, RBI OFFICER and CLERK exams is graduation in any discipline from recognised institution/university & there is no marks percentage critiria
## As you have completed 12th, if you have 60% of marks then you can apply for SBI CLERK exam
## Age limit to apply for BANK CLERK examinations is 18-28 years and for BANK PO exams is 21-30 years & the age relaxations are

Hi,

Here is no particular Stream to be taken in after 12th ..

All you must have is .. Maths as one of your subjects

make sure that it has this

And you must definitely work out for this to get good job

And the minimum age must be 18 years

And you must have a minimum of

12th --- Clerk

Degree --- Probationary Officer ...etc.,

And first of all analyze the favorite subjects

Then choose the stream ... which they may be comfortable

GOOD LUCK

You should be graduate to apply for the banking exams conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. Without a graduation degree you are not eligible for the banking exams.

You can take admission in any college but it should be recognized. You will not be given any advantage if completed graduation from any specific college. That is not the case.

As far as the course is concerned, I would recommend a Bachelor degree related to computers or the one which has Computer Science as a subject.

The reason is that apart from a graduation degree you also need some qualification related to computers as well. For example you can apply if completed Diploma or degree in Computers. Or you should study Computer Science subject in 12th standard or in the college.

Which is why I am recommending a degree related to computers. It would also be accepted as the qualifying course. But if did took Computer Science subject in 12th standard then there is no need to take computer related course. You can pick any graduation degree.

IBPS Clerical/Bank PO Eligibility

1. The candidate applying for the exams should be Indian citizen.

2. He/She should have a valid graduation degree.

3. Must have passed graduation with 60 percent marks to apply for Bank PO.

4. There is 5 percent relaxation for SC/ST.

5. However no relaxation is given to OBC.

6. You do not have to worry about percentage to apply for Clerical.

7. The age limit for both exams is 20 to 28 years.

8. A maximum of 3 years relaxation is granted to OBC.

9. Relaxation extended to SC/ST is 5 years.

10. While 10 years for Person with disability.

If you want to join Banking Sector on the basis of your 12th class, then you can join on the post of Clerk by clearing the exam conducted by the IBPS/SBI every year.
If you want to join after graduation, then you can also join by the clearing the PO exam.
Eligibility:
The candidate must have 10+2/Graduation with minimum 50%.
Age limit:18-28
However, age relaxation is given to the reserved categories.
