Travel expenses are also covered under Education Loan?


Respected Sir,
I am from Dibrugarh and given KIITEE. I have secured admission in KIIT University and have to migrate from my hometown. I need an Education Loan from any Bank. My question is, in this Education Loan my travel expenses are also covered? Please tell me asap.

Travel expenses are covered under Education loan by Bank only if you are going to pursue your higher studies in Abroad.

If you are going to pursue your higher studies within India, no travel expenses will be considered by Bank under Education loan as they are very less when compared to travel expenses required to go to Abroad.

Travel expenses are covered under education loan only if one is taking education loan for study in abroad. Since you are taking education loan to study in KIIT, which is in India, so there will be no travel expense covered under education loan. Hence, you will not be able to reimburse the travel expense from your hometown to Bhubaneswar through education loan.
