Your probable rank will be within 21,000 in WBJEE.However, it also depends of numbers of seat alotted this year and councelling also.

To get in jadavpur , you need a rank within 500 in WBJEE, there is no other way to get in jadavpur enginering, there is no connection between IIT-JEE & WBJEE,ok.

well i stay in kalyani & can tell you, its an awesome college, the 3rd best govt college in WB. well you need a rank within 1500.

If so then you have done well in WBJEE. Your probable rank will be within 10,000 which is good enough for getting into Any good private engineering college and few government colleges like- Murshidabad college of engineering and technology etc.

If you are scoring 60/200 then probable rank will be witing 20,000. And you can some private engineering colleges with this rank, like- seacom, Techno India ect.

Govt. Engineering colleges in West Bengal are
Jadavpur University
Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur
Kalyani University
College at Jalpaiguri

For Getting into Govt colleges rank below 3000 is a must. Though at this rank good streams are not available. So a rank within 900 is most desirable.

dear friend if you belong to west bengal then 50% seats are reserved for you but if you are scoring in between 20000 then also you can get a seat in govt college and there are many govt colleges in west bengal so there wont be any problem for you to get admission..

dont know about top colleges, but you can easily get chance in any good college in west bengal.

Your WBJEE score is quite better

Keeping in mind this year's WBJEE paper which was easier then previous one, your probable score will be within 17,000 and with this score you can expect some good engineering college both private and 1 or 2 option will also remain for you for Government college, as the case may be.

Due to easy paper of WBJEE many have scored well, and therefore it will be typical to get in good institute without scoring very well.

Actually in WBJEE the marks doesnot declared.so no body can guess for how many marks which rank would be guessed..
so need not to be worried about your marks.& for gov.engg. collge you must be in good rank holder just as-
for JADAVPUR-appx 700
for SHIVPUR-appx 1200
for Kalyani gov. collg-appx 2000
for Jalpaiguri gov.engg.college-appx 2500
& so on....
all above prediction is based on previous year counselling.

If you had really Scored 199 out of 200 Either for Engineering or Medical, then no doubt that you are the TOPPER of WBJEE 2010.

You probable rank will be 24,000-28,000.

And with this rank you can find private engineering colleges like-

St.Thomas college of Engineering & Technology.

NPC College of science & management.

RCC Institute of IT.

MCKV Institute of Engineering.

Seacom Engineering College.

And many more........

there are some government engineering college like jadavpur,kalyni,shibpur.so if you want to get admission in government engineering college then you have to score under 3000 rank.

The pridiction given by me previously that is 37000..42000 was a normal prediction.

But after consulting some good teachers of some private coaching centres, they predict that if a candidate is scoring 60-65 in WBJEE and his/her score is comparetively better in Maths, then Physics and Chemistry then he can easily expect rank in range of 24000..28000.

And I thought that your Mathematics in WBJEE will be better then Physics and Chemistry as usual with 90% WBJEE aspirant this year because MATHS was easier this year.

So, you can expect later one.

And also you may know that pridcticting score of Entrance is not an easy task as because various matters are associated with.

Askers only provide us there scores in WBJEE for predicting there rank, but fact is that various factors are associated with.

For example- Individual score in each subject MAths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, besides this the Tie-Breaking method and all.
