Age criteria for WBJEE exam 2017


SIR, My birth date is 17th march 2000, and i will give the ISC exam in the year 2017. So, please tell me that can i give wbjee exam in 2017?

WBJEE stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. It is a State level entrance examination conducted by WBJEEB for offering admission to undergraduate Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy courses.

Age Criteria for WBJEE 2017 Examination :-

=> You should be at least 17 years old as on 31st December, 2017.

=> There is no upper age limit except for the Marine Engineering courses, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December, 2017.

To be eligible to appear in WBJEE examination, you should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology and English with minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ ST) marks from a Government recognised board.

As per the information you have provided in your query, you was born on 17th March, 2000, that means you are 16 years 4 months old at present and you will attain the age of 17 years 9 months as on 31st December, 2017, so, you are eligible to appear in WBJEE 2017 examination.

WBJEE stands for 'West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam'. It is the entrance exam conducted for admission in engineering colleges of West Bengal. For appearing in WBJEE 2017, you must be 17 years old as on 31st Dec, 2017. As per your date of birth(17th march 2000), you are eligible for appearing in WBJEE exam 2017.

Age criteria for WBJEE exam 2017

Candidate must be 17 years old as on 31st December 2017.
If you want to apply for mining engineering then you must be below 25 years old.

Candidate must be the citizen of India.
He/ She should have the domicile of West Bengal.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for WBJEE examination in 2017.

The examination is conducted for admission of candidates in various undergraduate courses.

The age limit to appear for examination is that the candidates must be of minimum 17 years as on 31st December of year of appearing for examination. There is no maximum age limit to appear for examination (Engineering and Medical courses).

Candidate must have minimum 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum passing marks in each in the 10+2 from recognised board.

No. You are not eligible to write WBJEE 2017 as per age criteria of WBJEE. It is conducted in west Bengal state for admission to engineering and medical courses.

WBJEE Eligibility
- You must be Indian citizen.
- For TFW seats & Government college admission , You must have domicile certificate of west Bengal state.
- You must have passed senior secondary in science stream from a recognized board.
- Your age must be at least 17 years on 31st December of the examination year.

- Register online yourself.

Yes, you are eligible for WBJEE exam 2017.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks from a recognized university with PCB or PCM subject are eligible for WBJEE 2017 exam.

Your age must be above 17 years.

WBJEE stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. The age criteria for different courses under WBJEE:

>>Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture courses: Candidate must have attained minimum age of 17 years on 31st December, 2017. The age limit is for medical and dental courses also.

As per your age limit given in query, you are eligible to apply for WB JEE examination that will be conducted in 2017.

Candidate must have scored at least 60% marks for General category and 55% for reserved category.

Eligibility criteria for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination:

Candidate must have passed 12th from science stream from recognised Board of West Bengal schools. Minimum age should not be less than 17 and there is no upper age limit.

WBJEE stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination.

Eligibility criteria:

1. If you are interested in engineering discipline then science stream with mathematics and for medical courses, science stream with biology is required.

2. The minimum age required to apply for WBJEE examination is 17 years on 31st December of year of examination , it is 2017.

You will complete your 17 years on 17th March, 2017, you are eligible to apply for WBJEE examination that will be conducted in 2017.
