Yes my dear friend for economic honours in B.A or B.Sc you must have mathematics.

Yes, Maths is compulsory for economic honours.
For admission to B.A. Economics in any
college of Commerce you must must hv at least 70% marks in
Mathematics.

iam a class 12 science student. i want to go for economics honours....but will i have any problem understanding the subject???? because i dont know anything about that subject..........

yes maths is compulsory.while doing honours you will get many applications of maths.so you should have a clear idea of mathematical applications

no you wont get admission in du.you should have maths in your combination.

it does not matter.you will be able to understand the subject.there are more than 50%student from science background who r pursuing this course.

now i am planning 2 switch 2 arts as i am not comfortable with accounts but i want 2 do eco honors after 12th bt i didnt opt 4 maths in class 11th..i have droped maths..but i hav an interest in economics...soo can i do eco honors after taking arts and wil i be able 2 cope up with maths later.....

Maths is compulsary for Economics Honours,weather you study B.A. (Economics) or B.sc (Economics) or ealse.

You have to study topics like- Linier Algebra,Functions,calculus etc. which are topics of Mathematics.

You also have to study Statistics,topics like Probability,Index number etc. comes under it.

So,for studing Economics honours you have to study Maths or Stats. you cant run of it.

Hons from shyam lal college (eve.) ,but also this time my exam is not going well and I also checked perivious year ex student result is very redendent only few students would passed, I am in tension now , what can i do,i got admission in college in other course or any other career option,please help me...
