Hi, I only see a lot of questions and no answers. was hoping for some direction in this regard. How many years of study in India is required to avoid NRI status? any specific grades/ classes that the student has to study in India? Someone please answer my question. need to make decisions about my son's education based on this.

I have completed my 10the in Malaysia and took foundation course in bachelor of law in a Malaysia university and now that i have completed my foundation course i will be joining in 2nd year of degree course will i be able to join in india with this eligibility

My Daughter daughter completed 12th Science in CBSE Delhi board in Qatar, now we are planing to send INDIA for further study for medicine in tamilnadu, she will get admission under normal category or NRI

If a child , after returning from abroad ,studies in India from 9th std to 12th std in any state, is he eligible to get college admission for undergrad courses (incl B.A,B.sc,B.com,engineering, Law or MBBS) in that state of choice? If not, what should the child do to seek admission into colleges in the state of choice?
