hi!

I am sourabh! I have done bsc(cs) with average marks! I don't want to do mca/msc(cs/IT) due to my weakness in technical subjects! I am thinking about doing MSW after BSC. Is it worth decision? please guide! what about job prospects?

I think MCA is better choice after BCA other then MBA......... it is a professional course and a master degree after MCA you can easily get good job in reputed software companies so i think you should go for MCA.......... it is better option for your future or for your salary package .........

MCA has a good career prospects.if you pass the course with a good percentage than it will be more beneficial.. You can try jobs in following areas.........

Work as a Systems Manager in a big corporate
Work as an Internet Expert, Web Designing Specialist
Develop software for Indian companies
Take up a career in computer education
Join Internet based companies and do Web Designing
Provide solutions to your clients and design customized software
Develop Platforms for Software / Server based companies

although mba does have a high profile job prospectus ....but the fields are restricted.....

Then You go for only MBA, because without interest you can't do anything in mca field.

i have completed my BCA and i m also Certified in SAP ABAP programming...
this is my 1st year of MCA...m confused what to do..continue MCA or go for the jobs based on SAP..?

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MBA AND MCA:- MBA MEANS MASTER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION , 2YEAR COURSE, ELIGIBILITY IS GRADUATION MCA:- IT MEANS MASTER IN COMPUTER APPLICATION, 3YEAR COURSE, ELIGIBILITY IS GRADUATION IN MATHS. Then you choose any one course with your interest. Because both have good jobs and earnings. Best of luck

After BCA you can do both and both have good career options for future perspectives,before choosing any of the course you should see your interest
level in which you want make career. You have done BCA than MCA could be good career option for you if you want to make career in software industries.
If you are not so comfortable in programming than you should go for MBA.

i suggest you to go for MCA after your BCA completion because if you do MCA then you will be getting specialized certificate,after that u can do m.tech or mba both

After Completion of BCA that is bachelor of computer application you should go for MCA
that is a master degree.

After doing master degree you get the vast knowledge about the computer hardware and software and then you can easily establish yourself in the IT industry.

Yes, you can join the MBA programme after completion of BCA and it will be good for you.

But as you said that you want to work in banking sector then fo rthis you will have to choose the subjects finance in MBA programme.

Your BCA degree will help you in this, means actually it is a advantage of you.

MBA is better than MCA programme because it has a lot of job opportunity.After BCA you will get a technical knowledge and when you join the MBA programme then this knowledge will help you in improving your skills.

Both MBA and MCA are equally good and give you a vast opportunity.But as you are a BCA student I think MCA will be a better option for you because if you change your field i.e. if you choose MBA over MCA, then you might feel some problems with terms and concepts.So MCA is better.

As you are B.C.A students it will be convenient for you to choose M.C.A it will be great after that you will get good job with good salary.
if you are interested for more higher study then you can do M.B.A

u have two options and these two options have their own value.
MBA is a master degree which gives u information about managment and business benifitial information.
and the other option is mca.
MCA is the best option for u.u should do mca.
u can also do some courses related to programming which is very benifitial for your future.

Though both MCA and mba are good programs. Personally I feel mba has more prospects than MCA. There are so many interesting and unique programs available these days like Oil and gas Mgmt, Energy Trading, Power Mgmt etc.These programs have huge takers in the job market given that you have the potential and aptitude. Being unconventional programs these are not offered by many universities in India or Asia, there is only one university UPES, Dehradun providing them in the pan Asia region.

u r in ur bca it is a good technical field after that u can make a bright future in technical field . If u r good in ur field then u may get good opportunities in MCA as ur master degree . so u need concentrate in ur own field

Right now you are in your final year of BCA.
You are asking to go for MBA/MCA..
Now see the fact is that both are completely different field.
1. MCA- It deals with the technical field and you will specialize on your technical background.
The selection procedure depends on the marks at your Graduation level as well as on the Entrance test.
2. MBA- You have to go through an aptitude test and interview.
The exams are quite tough.
It deals with the management field, not with your technical skills.
So, it depends on you.

MCA
The aspirant must have completed bachelor degree course (any discipline)
moreover the aspirant must have choosen mathematics as one of their subjects in higher secondary schooling.
MBA
Bachelor degree from a recognised university is the required qualification . To join there are various exams conducted at national and state level. Exams like CAT, TANCET etc are conducted
if you have did bca as your bachelor degree course it will be better if you choose MCA as it will make you more specialised in your degree. But if you have did any other bachelor course it will be good to do MBA as knowledge of business administration is required in many fields with MBA degree you can get into any institution but it is not the case with MCA. i think you should go with MCA bcoz after BCA, MCA is your educational line. No doubt in market lost of competiton there, but through MCA you can start your professional life in every field, may be it could be industrial, academic or institutional. so i would be prefer to you u should choose MCA.

As finished your BCA course you are eligible for MBA & MCA.
Both courses have their own importance.
According to your query you are not good in coding part.
If you go for MCA course ,here coding is very important.But present situation software boom is very less.
Based on skills they will give the opportunities.Don't worry there will be a number institutes,you have to go for that and increase your coding ability.

My advice is after BCA you an go for MBA.MBA have a very good scope.In present situation MBA demand will be very high.

So its purely depends upon your interest.

You should prefer M.C.A 100% because it gives you more specialization in your computer field and give more chances of job.
a mca student have more knowledge than a student of b.tech in computer science branch.
