RAS (Rajasthan Administrative Service) a competitive examination which is conducted by Rajasthan public service commission(RPSC) which is the state level examination .

There are actually two exams for RAS post:
1:Prelims exam:this exam will be on the General Knowledge and General Sciencee which is compulsory.

And the optional subjects are as follows,you have to one of them:
1>>Agriculture
2>>Agricultural Engineering
3>>Crop Husbandry with Horticulture
4>>Computer Science
5>>Computer Engg.
6>>Civil Engineering
7>>Commerece
8>>Chemistry
9>>Physics
10>>Math
11>>Economics etc....

After the prelims there will be a
2:Main Exam:this exam will be on the General Knowledge and General Sciencee which is compulsory.

3:The RAS exam is a Multiple Choice Questions(MCQ) type as well as computer administered exam.

5:According to me there are so many subjects,,so study them properly,
then study maintaining a time table.

6:You should collect knowledge in Aptitude and general knowledge from Barron's,R.S.Agarwal etc..

HI!

There are 2 modes of preparation for RAS exam:

Coaching - If you want guidance for your preparation then you can join some good coaching institutes. They will provide you all the minute details about the exam as well as the resources needed to clear the exam successfully.

Self study - If you are confident that you will clear the exam by self study then there is no need of coaching. You only require hard work, determination & right strategy to crack the exam.

Well, in both the cases these tips will help you:

Have a strong hold of the fundamentals.
Selection of right books & study materials.
Try to solve model papers based on latest exam pattern.
Analyze result, find out the weak areas & try to overcome those weak areas.
Regular practice is the only key to success in any exam.

Yes. Sure. But you haven't furnished the details about your accomplishments, I mean your qualifcation, Age etc. Anyways, The literal requirement for eligiblity to RAS exam is

(1)The minimum educational qualification required for RAS exam is a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
(2)The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and should not be over 35 years.

So, If you have passed these two requirements, Then you are BASICALLY eligible for the Exam.
