Dear friend, Its your great choice that you want to join Indian Air force. There are three branches in Indian Air force. You can join any one of the branch from Flying, Technical or Ground branches. Here I will tell you in detail that how to join each branch and its eligibility criteria. In order to join Indian Air force you can appear in National Defense Academy (NDA) Exam and you can also appear in Combined Defense Services Exam (CDSE). Those candidates who want to join Indian Airforce after 12th class have to appear in NDA exam and those who want to join Indian Airforce after Graduation have to appear in CDSE exam. Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam:- 1)- You should be an Indian Citizen. 2)- You should have completed 12th class with Science stream from a recognized board. 3)- You should have minimum 60% marks in 12th. 4)- Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Eligibility Criteria for CDSE Exam:- 1)- You should be an Indian Citizen. 2)- Your age should be in between 19 to 25 years. 3)- For joining Indian Airforce and Indian Navy, you should have completed your Graduation in Science stream from a recognized university. 4)- For joining indian army you should have completed your Graduation in any stream from a recognized university. You can get entry in the following three branches of Indian Airforce:- 1 - Flying Branch 2. Technical Branch 3 - Ground Duty Branches There are the following three modes of entry for engineers to join the Flying branch:
Selection Procedure:- Step 1 – Written Exam Step 2 – Testing Officer Like Qualities Step 3 – Conducting of Medical Examinations Step 4 – Preparing All India Merit List. |

If you are interested in Indian Air Force, first you can crack the NDA Examination NDA stands for National Defence Academy, This examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice i.e. NDA - I & NDA - II NDA have three wings 1. Indian Air Force 2. Indian Navy 3. Indian Army Required Eligibility Criteria For NDA Examination Educational Qualification >> Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics) subjects from any recognized institutions >> There is no percentage required for this examination Age Limit >> Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years, >> There is a no age relaxation for this examination Nationality >> Candidates should be a citizen of India Marital Status >> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination you can satisfy all above eligibility criterias then you are eligible for this examination Selection Procedure ** Written Examination ** Medical Test ** Personnel Interview HOW TO APPLY How to apply: Candidates are required to apply online by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in. National Defence Academy examination in Air force
The candidate must be completed the higher secondary level(12th) examination from a recognized board or equivalent qualification. Your age should have a minimum 16.5 years and maximum 19 years. Selection procedure :- 1)Written examination 2)Interview. General Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty Branches Age - 20 to 23 Years for Graduates and 20 to 25 years for Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course). Upper age limit relaxed upto 26 years for Law Graduates (3 Years Course), upto 27 years for CA / ICWA / M Ed / Ph D. Marital Status - Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried. Nationality - Indian Gender - Both men and women. |

Minimum qualification required to join airforce is
1. After 10 th you can join airforce but in lower categaries 2. After 10+2 3. After completing graduation b.e/b.tech/b.sc.it age limit- 16&1/2 to 21 |

Indian Air Force can be joined through UPSC conducted NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam held two times every year.
The candidate wishing to join Indian Air Force of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the 12th final exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of studies from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness. IN ORDER TO JOIN AIR FORCE HERE ARE QUALIFICATION THAT ONE SHOULD HAVE.
1)12TH PASS=NEED TO WRITE NDA EXAM. Age limit=16 1/2-19years. applicable for only men. should be unmarried. NOTICE= exam notification= 31.12.2011 Last date for Online Application :30.01.2012 (MONDAY) date of commencement of exam=14-04-2012(sunday). 2)graduate=need to write CDS exams. -Can join in a)flying branch b)ground duty branch c)technical branch age limit=19-24years. NOTICE= Date of CDS Exam (I) 2012 Notification : 29.10.2011 Last date for receipt of form: 28.11.2011 CDS Entrance Test Date: 12.02.2012 3)POST GRADUATES=CAN JOIN IN ONLY GROUND DUTY BRANCH. age limit=less than 27years. 4)ENGINEERS= age limit=19-24years. a)CDS exam b)ues c)direct ssb interview. |

My dear friend Here there are the Minimum qualification for job in Indian Air Force are... Qualification to join Air force:- you must have studied physics and maths in 12th level. You are the citizen of India. You should have minimum completed 10+2 education. Age limit:-Your age is between 16.5 to 19 years for Air force. Minimum Hight:-Your height is 157 cms for males and 152 cms for females. Eye sight:-Your eye sight is 6/6 for good eye and 6/12 for worst eye. Best of luck.... |
