The important dates are

Last Date for submitting GATE 2011 Application Form: Online (October 27, 2010) Offline (November 02, 2010)

Gate 2011 Exam Date: February 13, 2011

GATE 2011 Result Announcement: March 15, 2011 (10:00 Hrs)

M.Tech admissions 2011: Mid of March 2011 till July 2011

from this year selling of gate form hss been stopped.so for gate 2012 u have fill form online only last date is third week of oct11.after filling of form on net u have to send the form to concerned zone by post for that last date is 24 oct 11 more detail on iit delhi site and click on gate 2012

there isa problem in submitting the challan in sbi bank as because account number is not mentioned in the respective challan. so how can i get account no of sbi bank?

If you have netbanking/debit card facility then you can apply the application form online,by clicking here.For this you no need to go for bank to pay the amount.

If you don,t have netbanking/debit card facility,then you have to apply the application form by paying challan in the bank.

You have pay the challan amount in this banks only,that are ICICI Bank,Indian Bank,State Bank Of India.

Yes you can apply for gate exam, even if you did your B tech part time....
The GATE exam time duration is 3 hours.There are maximum of 65 questions,which are of objective type.....there are 60 multiple type questions,four alternatives and some numerical type questions which are to be answered which contains answers in numbers...

general aptitude and other subjects related to your course in B tech....

till which date will the gate forms be available in the banks and when is the last date of submission? what is the cost of each form?

HI

Earlier GATE forms were available with CANARA bank but now you can fill the form online and pay the challan at SBI branch.

Then you need to take print out of online form along with other documents like challan, caste certificate etc and send it to nearby IIT or the IIT conducting the GATE exam.

You can appear for any number of time to GATE exam.

You have to apply GATE2014 through online only.So you cannot get application forms in any bank.Just you have to apply through online using the following link.

gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014

You have to pay the fee too in online only through bank challan.Complete procedure how to apply is given in the website mentioned above.
