Date of start of sale of application form through banks and on line submission: 25.08.2009 Date of close of sale of application form through banks and online submission: 23.09.2009 Schedule for On-line application (i) Start of On-line submission of application form and fee deposit through bank challan: (ii) Date of close of on-line submission and deposit of fee (at all stations): Last date of receipt of completed application forms including duly completed hard copy of on line application in the examination unit: tyr again good luck. |

Date of Examination: third week of the month of June, generally the third Sunday.
Issue of application forms: the second week to the third week of the month of March, 2010. Last date for submission of application forms: the first week of the month of April, 2010. |

The Test will be held in two sessions on Sunday, the 20th December, 2010 with the revised syllabus of paper I & II, with the revised scheme of Examination. Negative marking will be made for wrong answers in Paper I. Paper II will be evaluated only in case of those candidates who will be able to secure a minimum of such aggregate marks in Paper I as may be fixed by the CSIR.

UGC, university grants commission takes students on the basis of NET results for its various posts in varsities.
They have a series of subjects from arts to psychology. But, CSIR spectucarly takes candidates for its research programs for its various centres. |

The CSIR UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year once in JUNE and once in December.
Details Regarding JUNE 2011 Exam: According to the new pattern, the June, 2011 CSIR-UGC (NET) Exam for Award of Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lecturership will be a Single Paper Test and will have Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). *The question paper of each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks. *The duration of exam shall be of three hours. *The question paper shall be divided into 3 parts Pattern Of examination: *Section 'A' will be common to all subjects.It will be a test containing a maximum of 20 questions of General Science and Research Aptitude test. The candidates shall be required to answer any 15 questions of two marks each. The total marks allocated to this section is 30 out of 200. *Section 'B' will contain subject-related conventional MCQs. The total marks allocated to this section is 70 out of 200. The maximum number of questions to be attempted shall be in the range of 25-35. *Section 'C' will contain higher value questions that will test your knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions will be of analytical nature where you are expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem. The total marks allocated to this section is be 100 out of 200. *There will be negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, that will be @ 25%, so be careful of answering. Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) June 2011 CSIR will hold Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) June, 2011 Exam on Sunday the 19 June 2011 Eligibility for CSIR UGC NET entrance examination: You Must have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks And the final year Students of M.Sc. are also eligible to appear in CSIR NET exams. Age Eligibility Criteria - For Junior Research fellowship – You must be between 19 –28 years of age. For Lectureship – There is no upper age limit. You should be at least 19 years of age.
