NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by the University Grants Commission,

NET Conducted for Two Post:

1.Junior Research Fellowship
2.Lectureship

The Educational Qualification required for NET exam is masters degree .Your masters degree marks must be above 55% . 5% marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST category.

Yes , After completion of MBA degree you are applicable for UGC NET exam .

There is a age criteria for Junior Research Fellowship .Your age should be below 28 years old. Age relaxation unto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .For the post of Lectureship , There is no upper age limit .

The New Information of NET Exam:-

1) All papers contain MCQ question .
2)There is no negative marking
3)There is no fixed marks criteria
4)Top 15% candidate got NET score Card.

Last date for submission application for June 2013 is over for this year so you can try here in December 2013 .

must have a post graduation degree from a recognized university

minimum 55% are required in pg

final year pg students are also allowed

no upper age for lectureship

age limit for jrf is 21-28 years

3 year relaxation for obc students

5 year relaxation for sc/st students

exam is a objective type question ,
contains n negative marking,

as you have completed mba you are definitely eligible for net exam
