i am the third year btech (IT) branch student i am interested in group1 and group2 exams please tell me the questin paper pattern and what is the age limit for writing these exams and what are the preffered books for these exams

for Jobs in Central Govt. and State Govt. Group Exams is held. Group exams give Chance to Getting good Govt. job.

There are 4 types of Group exams is present.
Group 1/2/3/4

Group 1 exams is Conduct by Central Govt. and Group 2,3,4 Exams is Conduct by State Govt.


Eligibility =>

Group 1 and 2 -

You have to completed your graduation in any stream from recognized university.
age limit:- 21-34 yrs.

Upper Age relaxation-
SC/ST - 5 years.
OBC - 3 years

Group 3 and 4 -

You have to completed your intermediate in any subject from recognized State Board.
Age limit:- 19-30 years .

Upper Age relaxation-
SC/ST - 5 years.
OBC - 3 years

its not at all groups and Civils are slightly different each other in case of syllabus..
Civils have in depth syllabus compared with groups.

It is good to learn before entry. Civil is same as group included under A but constant hard work is must as civil are the most toughest exams. extra syllabus and gk is must for UPSC.
