]from this year the GATE stipend become Rs.8000/- to Rs.14000/- per month.

it's vary according to your institution and your project. but you will get atleast Rs.8000/-

you may get more than Rs.14000/- if your project is very costly and your project guide helps you to get the scholarship

Firstly I want to tell you friend that scholorship amount is wholly solly depends upon the decision taken by HRD department and it is liable to change even in mid term of period. Also stipend depends upon the institutions like top research institute offers more scholorship than any other college in India. It is true that it may vary from 8000/- to 12000/- but not necessarily be same for all institute

If you qualify Gate cut off then you are eligible for gate scholarship and it varies according to college and the amount varies from 8000 to 12000.

i am doing my M.Tech through GATE 2009 Score 318 and marks 22.33. does the rule of 25 GATE marks apply to me as well. I am doin M.Tech in AndhraPradesh and ours is the first batch of M.tech in our college. Are there any rules pertaining to private colleges who were permitted M.tech from 2009.My college people have already applied for our stiphend on 21st dec 2009. but there is no response from AICTE. Do we have to apply again. If so to whom exactly.

stipend for M.TECH totally depends upon your institution & your project
but it varies from 8000/- to 14000/- .
Candidate will get min 8000/- per month.

GATE Scholarship/Stipend is given by Government for government institute like all IIT,All NIT,Jadavpur Universities,Shibpur Engg.college,ANNA Universities,VIT,KIT.

For current information GATE Scholarship/Stipend is Rs-12,000.You will get it after the all semester or after all one year.

Request to provide the guidelines/instructions/procedures to the colleges and students for submitting application for M.Tech GATE scholarship which is very useful to the colleges. At present nothing available in the AICTE web site.

In that case, what is the gate percentile required to join ME Power Electronics or ME Control Systems in AU Coimbatore?

There are some rumors that IIT like colleges also do some manipulations so that a intelligent student of M Tech also do not get stipend more than Rs.8000/-PM and the colleges (authority) fills their pocket by giving some pressure on students that they will not be given any stipend if he opposes the same.How can I know that the stipend given to me and the stipend shown in govt.account is same. waiting for reply.
