hello dear,
to join indian army at officer level,you should give the cdse exam,which conducted by the every year by the upsc.

If you want to become a army officer then you can apply for NDA exam after 12th.
As you have done your 12th with commerce then you can only apply for army..

Eligibility for NDA exam is follows:
1.You must be a citizen of India.
2.Candidate's age must be between 16-1/2 to 19 yrs.
3.Candidate should have 12th pass certificate from any state board or central board.
4.Candidate who are appearing for 12th exam also can apply.
5.candidate should have science side(maths+physics) in 11-12th class for air force and navy.
Procedure:
first you have to appear for the written exam conducted by UPSC.Exam contains two papers(1)is of maths and (2)is of general knowledge and english and some questions of physics and chemistry.

After selecting in written exam you will be called for SSB.It is aprocess of 5 days.During which your physical, mental state has tested.
After SSB you will be called for medical check -up.

NDA forms are filled two times a year,one in Oct-Nov and another in Mar-April hence you have to be updated through newspapers.

you don't need to worry ....after 12th go for National Defence Examination
or after go for Combind defence sevice examination for permanent comision
or through other exams for short service examination . be confident and give your best

I have big dreems -That is the day of joining indian army.

there are many different ways to join indian army like :-
1. you can give NDA exam to join army .
2. you can get in from technical entry by scoring more than 75% in PCM.
3. you can get into this after your graduation by giving CDS exam.
4. last date of online application form is 30th november 2011.

To join Indian Army you have to appear for the exam for National Defence Academy(NDA) or Combined Defence Service(CDS) conducted by UPSC twice every year.

Candidate must be unmarried Indian citizen within the age group of 16.5 to 19 years of age with 12th standard from any stream or with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for NDA and CDS exam to join Indian Army.

Indian army will always invite pupil with good physical structure . one should always fulfill height and weight, having graduation u will be having a chance to apply for high level posts. Entry at young age will be always good in army.

there are many ways to join indian army at differnt stages...
after 12th you can apply for NDA... which is held twice in a year..
after graduation you can apply for CDS.. b.yech 3rd year students can also appear for CDS...
OTC is also the good platform to join indian army...

1)you should be less than 23 years old.
2)you should be medically sound.

after you fulfill these criterias you can then give the following exams to join indian army,you can join logistic cadre in indian army:

1)CDSE: it is an exam conducted for graduates by UPSC twice an year and can get more information from :

2)UES and SSC: these are the exams conducted by indian army and you can get more information for these enteries from:

not to worry ncc certificate is not always neccesary for it.

you can appear for CDS exam conducted by UPSC

beside this you can also enter in this field through UES.

and in logistic or educational branch of INDIAN ARMY.

you can join the army through common entrance exam c.d.s(combined defence services) which include the three defence forces of india i.e Army, Air force, Navy.
It is conducted by union public service commission (U.P.SC) twice in a year, in the month of february and september.
Minimum Eligibility graduate from any stram.
Age: ARMY
1.For IMA (Indian Military Academy) this is the permanent comission in
the Army (for male candidate only)
----19 to 25yrs
2.For OTA (Officer's Training Academy) this is the short service
commission for 5 year extend up to 14 years
(both male and female candidate)
----19 to 26 yrs
