hi, i completed my MBA in FINANCE.... can i apply for CS Intermediate directly or i have to pass foundation stage also.... pl guide me....

what type of job we can get after c s final

Company secretary course duration:

The foundation course is for 8 months
Intermediate course is for 9 months.
Final examination 9 months after passing intermediate examination.
The CS course is complete after undertaking 16 months practical training.

8 + 9 + 9 + 16 = 42 months minimum.

The duration of company sectary is 42 Month and in this period CS student has to work 15 month as a article ship in CS/CA firm.

The eligibility for Company Secretary Courses is a pass in 10+2. The applicants are required to pass 3 stages as to be qualified as a company secretary. The Foundation, Intermediate and final. The company secretary foundation course is for 8 months. The duration of intermediate course is 9 Months and after that the candidate has to sit for the Final Courses

Is CS better after 12th or after b.com??

Final Course for Company Secretary is a 10 month long course. It is the last and final course in the route of becoming a Company Secretary.
In the CS Final Course, there are basically 9 subjects. These are arranged into 3 groups which include 3 papers of 100 marks each.

• Advanced Company Law and Practice (FACLP)
• Secretarial Management and Systems Audit (FSMSA)
• Secretarial Practice relating to Economic Laws and Drafting and Conveyance (FSPELDC)
Group II:
• Banking and Insurance-Law and Practice (FBILP)
• Corporate Restructuring-Law and Practice (FCRLP)
• Financial, Treasury and Forex Management (FFTFM)
Group III:
• Direct and Indirect Taxation-Law and Practice (FDITLP)
• Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations (FHRMIR)
• World Trade Organization-International Trade, Joint Ventures and Foreign Collaborations (FWTO)

Every eight month before you have to fill the application form of C.S. examination foundation program.

There are two session generally in a year for C.S.

So for June,2012 session you have to fill up the form on 30th September,2011.

And the December,2012 session you have to fill up the form on 31th March,2012.

Basically there is no fixed duration of this course.

Yes you can do CS with MBA.. But I suggest you enrol after you finish the MBA course as you may get a lots of exemptions.
