Sorry Girls are not eligible for NDA examination according to the notification.

Only unmarried male can apply for NDA examination. It is good that girls also want to join NDA but notification says that girls are not eligible for it.

Don’t get disheartened by this and complete you Graduation along with the preparation for CDS examination.

You will be eligible for CDS examination after completing the Graduation. So concentrate on further studies and try to complete it as early as possible.

The age limit for CDS examination is given below:

Air Force Academy- 19 to 23 years

Naval Academy- 19 to 22 years

Indian Military Academy – 19 to 24 years

Officers Training Academy- 19 to 25 years

The selection will be based on the performance in the written examination and SSB.

So start preparing for CDS from now so that you have greater chance of getting selected .

What is the date of next nda exam? my son's birth date is 14.06.1997 . Is he elegible for NDA Exam ? when he can apply for the same ?

NDA Exam I Important Dates 2013 :

Date of Notification : 22nd Dec , 2012

Last date of receipt of application : 21st Jan , 2013

Date of Commencement of Examination : 07th April , 2013

NDA Stands National Defence Academy

NDA Exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year

NDA Eligibility :

You must be Indian

You should have to complete 12th stands from a recognized university

Only unmarried male Candidates eligible , female candidates are not eligible for apply

Candidates physically & mentally fit

Selection Process :

Written Test

SSB Interview

Physical Test

NDA FOR GIRLS

NDA
National Defence Services exam is the path to join the nation's Defence forces. UPSC conducts an exam for The National Defence Academy to recruit cadets for Army, Navy and Air force. Every six months a fresh batch of cadets join the Academy and a perfectly trained team leaves, for their respective Service Academies.The exam is held twice a year usually in the month of April and August.
Streams Covered:
Defence
Format of the Exam:
Paper I Mathematics
Duration:
2 1/2 hours
Score:
300
Question Type:
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.The papers in all the subjects will consist of objective type questions only. The question papers (Test Booklets) will be set in English only.

Paper II - General Ability
Duration:2 1/2 hours
Score:English (Maximum Marks 200)
General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)

Part A - English
Part B - General Knowledge Divided into Section A (Physics)

Section B (Chemistry)

I am sorry to say that girls are not eligible for NDA examination

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

aspirants, first crack the NDA examination


NDA stands for National Defence Academy, This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission

NDA have three wings i.e.

Indian Air Force

Indian Army

Indian Navy

Required Eligibility Criteria for NDA examination


>> Candidates must have a 12th standard with PCM subjects from any recognized institution

>> There is no percentage required for this examination

>> Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years,

>> There in no age relaxation for this examination

>> Candidates should be a citizen of India

>> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

Sorry girls are not eligible for it and if you want to join indian army then you can opt for CDS and the eligibility for it is:

*You have done your graduation from recognized university.

*Age limit 19-25 yrs.
