can girls give nda this year?and whats the procedure ? are forms available online? if available whats last date to submit?

NDA is not for girls its only for boys but for girls also many option's are these like SSC...

alternates are also there GIRLS CAN FILL womens entry through UES or TGS

NDA exam is conducted twice a year by upsc . one in the month of march-april and other in july. no girls are not allowed only unmarried males are allowed. you just need to purchase form from post office. fill it and stick scra stamp of rs 50 .submit after cancellation of this scra stamp. no there are no online procedure for this exam.

No till now there is no such any criteria for girls to appear in NDA exam so you cannot appear in it.
The last dae of form submission is 15 novemer.
Now forms of UPSc can also be applied through online mode

No NDA is not for girls but we do have another option for girls in armed force that is via TECHNICAL ENTRY\Y SCHEME via SSB which required graduation in different fields.Hope you will prepare well for these entrance's and prove your self.

Its very nice that girls like you wants to serve the nation after joining defence forces but if you are looking to apply for NDA & NAE exam then it is impossible because girls are not allowed for NDA exam till date. You can apply through upsc and ssc for joining military ,paramilitary or police. For more info please visit

No, women can neither give nor take the NDA entrance exam.

Girls are not supposed to join NDA,but you can join in the officer's academy which is of fourteen year service after completing your respected degree course.you have to post your respected details such as educational certificates showing date of birth and all your educational certificates.
you must read the Hindu newspaper as they show the notifications else follow the upsc website showing details of your doubt

i am very sorry to say that NDA is not for girl.But if you want to join armed forces of India then there are lot of scheme through witch you can join armed forces that are as follows:

JAG( Judge advocate general) - To join army through this scheme , you have to pass

LLB.After passing, you you have to fill application form for this entry scheme.

Then you will be called for direct interview.After qualifying this you have to face SSB.

SSCW(PG) - To join army through this scheme , you have to pass

PG.After passing, you you have to fill application form for this entry scheme.

Then you will be called for direct interview.After qualifying this you have to face SSB.

After clearing SSB you will become army officer.

NDA examination is not for girls, girls cannot apply for NDA, Its only for boys.

Girls need to do a minimum of graduation course from a recognised university to join Indian armed forces, after completing the graduation u can apply through SSC i.e short service comission for women.

It is very nice that girls want to join defence,but NDA is not for girls.but you can join various woman entry scheme in defence.

No you are not applicable for NDA or NA

but if you are really interested in defense ground then see the alternating path, as few i have listed..

Short service commission(SSC) officer:-
male and female candidates can apply
eligibility:-

-Age limit: 191/2 to 25 years
-B.tech/M.tech (civil,mechanical,electronics,electronics & telecommunication,Aeronautical etc.)
-with at-lest 60% over all aggregate.
or
-have passed B.sc/M.sc (Physics,radio,electronics,)

university entry scheme(UES):-

-male and female candidates can apply

-must have attend there first university degree, (Bachelor degree).

Combined Defence Services (CDS) Non-Technical Courses only:-
-Entrance is conducted by UPSC twice every year,
-Unmarried women, with at least 60% aggregate,
-18 to 24 years,
-they will be provided SSC and will be trained at OTA.

It is only for unmarried male candidates.

Sorry to tell you but the girls are not allowed for appearing in the NDA exam as the

eligibility criteria says that only unmarried male candidates are allowed to sit for NDA.

Apart from that , the other qualifications are as follows:-

1.) 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70%.

2.) Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years.

3.) Minimum height -157 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

4.) No color blindness with 6/6 eyesight.

Sorry to say but the girls can not apply for the NDA exam as the eligibility criteria says that only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for it.
Apart from that , the minimum educational qualification is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70% marks.
Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

NDA exam is held by UPSC and it is only for BOYS not for GIRLS..
Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to appeared in the NDA examination..
How ever if you wish to join INDIAN ARMY then you can join it after your graduation or through SSC program...

why are girlz not allowed to join NDA when they are willing to undergo the same training the male candidates go under??we are confident that we are capable of doing everything they go through...and well,now-a-days there is no discrimination in the society that a girl cannot join army..our parents too support us.....and ya, we also are eligible for the enterance, as per discussed by honorable sir MONU RAI, on 23rd May 2011....
