The basic qualification for IAS exam is a degree course in any stream. The Civil Service Examination is conducted by the UPSC. Age limit is there for IAS examination. The minimum age is 21 and the maximum age is 30 for appearing in IAS examination. IAS examination includes both interview and written test. The time allotted for this examination is 2 hours.
Civil Service Examination is a competitive examination. General awareness questions will be there for this exam. Moreover, you can select optional subjects like physics, chemistry and commerce etc. Aspirants who have cleared the main exam will get intimation from the authority to attend for an interview

The acronym for SCRA is Special Class Railway Apprentice.

Special Class Railway Apprentices'(SCRA) refers to a handful of contenderss that are selected by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) India, after a rigorous selection process, to the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering.

The selection procedure for the SCRA examination is mentioned as below:-

* Written examination.

* Personnel interview.

* Medical examination.

SCRA examination syllabus:-

* Mathematics.

* Physics.

* Chemistry.

* English.

* General Knowledge.

* Psychological Test(Mental Ability).

The eligibility criteria required for the SCRA examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of intermediate with 1st or 2nd division with PCM as main subjects from any recognized board. or,

* Completion of graduation with PCM as main subjects from any accredited college or university. or,

* Completion of 12th with PCM as main subjects from any recognised board.

* Age limit:- 17-21 yrs.

* Nationality:- Indian.
