There is no restriction on the maximum number of attempts to appear for the SCRA exam. you can appear as many times as you wish.

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentices. The SCRA exam is conducted by the UPSC every year and the eligibility criteria required to appear for the SCRA exam is as follows :-

1.You must be a citizen of India.

2.You must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years as on 1st January, of the exam year. Age relaxation is applicable to the reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

3.You must have completed 12th or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognised board and the graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects among Physics and Chemistry as subjects can appear for the SCRA examination.

4.You must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Special Class Railway Apprentices examination notification which is going to be released on 11th October, 2014.

-->SCRA Exam Date :-
The SCRA 2015 is going to be held on 18th January, 2015.
