its depend on your group in 12th. its is applicable for m.p.c and bi.p.c grops

if u have done +2 in pcb u can directly do bpharma,otherwise if pcm ,u have to do dpharma,then b pharma.

the main requirements for these courses are as follows..

you should have passed ur +2 with minimum of 50 % in chemistry, phusics, maths/biology..

--age limit is 18 to 21 years.

nationality should be indian..

after 10+2 with science(PCB) you are eligible for B-pharm course.

this course have 4 year duration but you have to score in pharmacy admission test.

after that you are eligible.

I have passed 2 year Diploma Course in Pharmacy of Board of Technical Education of Govt. of AP in the year 1990-91 after completing 10th Class (as it was the minimum qualification required at that time). Now many advertisements are coming up that after 10 2 those who have completed the Diploma in Pharmacy are wanter. Is my diploma (2 years after 10th Class) equals to the present one (ie those who do after 10 2). Please confirm under which rule it is equal.

pharmacy is a course of bio stream only but any one who is from pcm background can also adopt pharmacy as his/her carrier'
now adays pharma field is a rapid growing field in india also in abroad.

it with PCB background, here remind that , you must have 50 % marks

after passing 12th , there are two opportunity in front of you-

1. D.pham another is
2. B. pharm.

you can get direct admission in D.pharm by merit basis, another way

you can get admission in B.pharm by given an entrance test which is conducted by every state for get good college.

other wise you may contact with some private university for admission in
B.pharma.

no, D.pharma is not compulsory for B.pharma for non bio students,
but if you have diploma in pharmacy degree, then you can get direct
2nd year admission in b.pharma, if you have minimum 60% marks in your

before doing B.pharma , D.pharma is not compulsory.
you can get easily admission in B. pharma , if you have minimum

if you complete D.pharma , then you can get direct 2nd year admission in B.pharma, there is also benifit is that you can get degree as register pharmacist

It is good that your daughter is trying to do something different. But you must ensure the course she picks up is based on her skills and liking. Initially she may find it good but if she does not have the basis liking and aptitude for that subject she is bound to loose interest after some period. She has the option for take up B.Sc in any of these subjects. Thereafter she can do a B.Ed and enter the teaching field. There are a few other fields which are upcoming like Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics. It all depends on what is best for her. She also has the option to go for the field of nursing, physiotherapy, lab technician, pharmacy. If she is not too sure what to pick up you could visit a career counselor.

If you have a score of 60%in 12th, you are eligible to get admission in most of the institutes for B.Pharma. You can appear for the entrance exam conducted by the the universities like Lovely Professional University, Jamia Hamdard etc. If you have a good score in 12th, it may help you to get direct admission and scholarships.
