can anyone pls give the topics in gd and the interview qs?

hi i have cleared my icici po's test for november batch.please tell how will the gd n pi and wat should i prepare for that

Hi dear,


ICICI is the only bank which will conduct Group discussion as a part of the selection procedure for PO positions.

Unlike general Group discussion topics, here a case will be given as a topic. You need to go through that with in 10 minutes and it may vary depending upon the length of the case.

After that you have to just close down the case and have to speak on that.

It may consists of 3-4 pages a single case. The task is you will have to assume as a particular personality in the case and you have to speak on what you can do if you are in that particular position.

but it is so easy to get through the Group discussion. Only thing they will look for is communication and clarity and adaptability and some other parameters.

Interview is regarding your career upto that, why you are interested to join in ICICI, and some other aspects

It is very easy to clear GD. YOu need to talk about the given case. I attended GD and PI last week. My topic is "As a president of student council you have to collect a fund for NGO, which helps for the malaria victims in a specific locality". They had given some options for raising fund. You have to choose one among them and talk on that. For example, by doing part time Bpo jobs, Organizing music festival, conducting tution, food stalls etc... Thats it. You have to be very clear in your opinions.

im kishore i have attended icici gd and pi process on 5th september.
let me share my experience.
huh in the gd process i was given a case study.each gd group consists of 12 members.
the case study we got is A PERSON COMES TO A COLLEGE FOR DONATION OF MONEY 2LAKH RUPEES TO CURE THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED WITH MALARIA.SO PRINCIPAL CALLS UPON STUDENT HEAD OF THE COLLEGE AND
ASKS HIM TO COLLECT 2 LAKHS WITH IN 30 DAYS.THE STRENGTH OF THE COLLEGE IS 1000 PEOPLE.
AND HE GIVES 6 POSSIBLE WAYS TO COLLECT THOSE AMOUNT.THIS IS THE CASE
AND THEN WE HAVE TO DISCUSS ON ANY IDEA WHICH WE LIKE WITH OTHER 11 PEOPLE.
AH ONE WAY IS TO WORK INA BPO.THEY GET 100RS PER 4 HRS OF BPO WORK.
SECOND WAY IS TO ORGANISE A CULTURAL FUNCTION AND COLLECTING FUNDS FOR THAT ETC
THIRD ONE IS TO TELL TUITION TO JUNIORS AND EARN 8000 PER STUDENT
AND THERE THREE OTHER WAYS SORRY I COULD NOT REMEMBER
OF TWELVE MEMBERS WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN MY GROUP 6 OF THEM GOT SELECTED.
AND IN THE INTERVIEW PROCESS HE JUST ASKED ABOUT MY PARENTAL BACKGROUND AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND ASKED ME WHETHER
I AM WILLING TO JOIN THE ICICIBANK IF I GET THROUGH THE INTERVIEW.
THAT'S IT ALL THE BEST.

U all will be very glad to know that ICICI is the India%u2019s second largest bank in India and also the largest private bank in India by market capitalization.It has totally 2016 branches and 5219 ATM%u2019s in India and present in all over 18 countries.Many many thanks to god because he have given me a chance for which I have cleared it's two rounds(written,gd).I have also also given my pi on 6th sep 2012 conducted in "Aryan Institute Of Management And IT",BBSR,ODISHA.
I wanna say that the rounds are very very easy to clear up and get selected,it's nothing to fear for what will hapen !!!!,only
"BE YOURSELF" and then live ur secured ana peaceful life after getting selected.
I'm eagerly waiting for my results and all of them who have given pi,stay in touch to know the results.......

For gd please be prepared with topics like current affairs and general topics like ethics come later, but food first, then you also have some abstract topics which you would not have any clue of.

My suggestion is please concentrate on your banking concepts and also brush up on your current affairs,

About interview it will mainly HR, Be up to date on what you have written in your resume. The questions will be mostly from that only.

I have attached a document on Banking please go through that document, It might help.

In icici PO interview... questions are simple only, they ask about simple banking terms, ur personal details and about icici bank..... ceo names etc..... answerable only... all the best.
