•You must have good physical condition. •You must have minimum 152 cm height. •Minimum 78cm chest require. •Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. •Your eye sight should be good. •Your weight should be minimum 50 kg. best of luck |

Dear Friend,
If you want to be a Lieutenant in Indian Army , then you have to crack the NDA Examination which is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission. The Minimum Height Required for Indian Army is : However , there are some other requisites which you have to fulfill for the NDA Exam . These are : * You must have passed 12th in any stream from any recognized board. * Candidates appearing in standard 12th are also eligible for the NDA Exam. * The Age Limit for the NDA Exam is 16.5-19 years with no relaxation in upper age to any candidate. * Only male candidates are eligible to apply for the exam. * The candidates must be an Indian Citizen. * The candidates appearing in the exam must be unmarried. So , to be fully eligible for the NDA Exam , you have to check that whether you fulfill all the required criteria or not. The NDA Exam is conducted in three stages namely : 1) Written Test 2) SSB Interview 3) Medical Test The NDA-I Exam , 2013 has already been conducted in the month of April so you ahve one chance this year and that is in the month of August as per the following schedule : - Date Of Notification : 04-05-2013 - Last Date For Receipt Of Applications : 03-06-2013 - Date Of examination : 11-08-2013 This is the information i ahve to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. There are three ways to get entered to indian army :-
1. NDA--after 10+2 2.UES-- technical entry scheme i.e direct entry for B.Tech. pre final and final year students 3.CDS-- This is for graduates Physical Requirements - Hight and Wieght - Minimum height Male - 157 cms, Female - 152 cms Eye Sight - The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 and should not be colour/night blind.
