i am final year Bcom student so i want take ias exam so my hight is 5.1 can take ias exam sir

The minimum height according to IAS exam eligibility if 160 to 165 cm which equals somewhere around 5ft 5 Inch.

Sorry but I dont think you are eligible for this as your height is 5.1

for being an ias your minimum height should be at least 5 feet 5 inch but your height is 5.1 so you are not elligible for ias . hard luck

in the eligibility criteria they are not mentioning anything about height

Sorry to say but after researching a lot i found that for the IAS their is no height requirement..,
But for IPS the physical standards are considered.

so donot worry about the height and one is eligble for IAS with 5.1 height too!!

for IAS

Height -

Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) - 160 cm
Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm

as per my knowledge you are not eligible for IAS exam

there are no requiment of height in I.A.S. because this is an administration post not a defence post. only for I.P.S. height required.

Graduation from any recognised university.

Age limits is 21 to 30years and there is a relaxation for the reserved candidates.

Candidate should be a citizen of india.

• Comprehension
• Interpersonal skills including communication skills

• Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. –Class X level)
• English language comprehension skills (Class X level)
• Questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level
