i felt proud on seeing your post. after 12th standard , there will be NDA(National Defence Academy) examination that is usually conducted by the Indian defence academy.. if you qualify with the required marks then you will be taken into the defence academy institutions. there you will be trained well and posted with a job in the required fields...

How To Join Indian Air Force After 12th

In order to join the Indian Air Force..you can appear for the NDA (NAtional Defense Academy) exam which is held twice every year in the months of April and August..

Eligibility Criteria :-

1) You should be a 12th pass-out with Physics,Chemistry and Maths as your subjects in 12th

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

Apart from these..you should be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight of 6/6 ..you should not be colorblind either..

For the written exams..keep the following things strong :-

English
Basic Maths
General Knowledge

You need to first clear the written exam,then the interview and then the medical examination..

There are some selection procedure such as:

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

According to the Eligibility Criteria:

Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

Age:

i)19 to 23 years
ii)19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.
Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

Marital Status:
You have to be Single.

Nationality:
You have to be Indian

Gender:
Men and women can apply for the examination.

If you are citizen of Indian and pass 12th from the Indian university or board then you are eligible for joining Indian Air Force.

For this You have to qualify the National Defence Academy (N.D.A).

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

i am studying in 12 standard from arts side. Can i join airforce now?

If you want to join the IAF after your 12th class, then you have to apply for the NDA exam. It is an All India Entrance Examination which selects candidates who are eligible and capable and also stand in the merit.

This exam is conducted in NDA I and NDA II by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.


** If you are an undergraduate, i.e just passed class 12th, so the NDA I is for you.


• The Basic Eligibility criteria says, that you should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or any other state board in India like NOS.
• Your age should lie within 16.5 to 19 years and no relaxation would be provided in this criteria to any candidates.
• If you want to apply for the IAF or Navy then you must have studied Physics and Mathematics as your subjects in Higher Secondary.
• Physical fitness is also a very important criteria for this exam. So you have to be fit and free of any illness.


Thus make sure that you satisfy all these criteria's before you fill up the application for the NDA.


For your information, I must tell you that UPSC has released the NDA 2012 Notification very recently on its website.

1)Technical
2)N�0‹2n Technical
you can fill both forms and the percentage is not required,it depends up�0‹2n the applicant who has maximum %.they will be called first.

You can join Indian Air Force after passing 12th through appearing NDA entrance exam. There is no provision for percentage of marks in 12th to apply for NDA.

NDA stands for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness, is eligible to apply for Indian Air Force of NDA.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with physical fitness and Medical Test.

Fellow !! You have got enough marks in 12th board exam,.. so you can apply for Indian Air force through NDA (NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) ,.This examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.For being eligible for this examination, you have to complete your 12 th standard after then you are eligible to Indian air force.

NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by the UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) twice in a year i.e NDA-I & NDA-II.

Through this Examination , one can apply in INDIAN AIR FORCE (IAF) ,NAVAL ACADEMY (NA) & INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY(IMA).

Educational requirement----

After 12 there's only one way to get into the indian airforce i.e through NDA.

The exam is conducted by upsc twice in an year termed as NDA-I and NDA-II.

The tentative months are april and september, so keep an eye on the employment newspaper for the advertisement schedule.

To join Air Force as an Airman, you have to be at least 10+2 with PCM with at least 50% marks or diploma holder for group X and 10+2 in any stream for group Y. After and during 10+2 appearing with PCM you can apply for NDA to join defence as Officer.
