can anyone help me
i m confused..........i have done my b.tech in ECE and my percentage is 56.
I want a govt. job. what are the options for that.....Plz help me

dear friend,
My friend you are pursuing B.tech course in ECE stream and you have secured 56% aggregate till now..

Then it may create problem at the time of applying for jobs in PSU's..

Because PSU's are generally want 60% aggregate through out the career.

As you have less percentage in Graduation then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for those PSU's..

But you can apply for govt. sector jobs like-

1.UPSC conducted civil service exams like- IAS/IPS/IES/IFS..

2.Defense service exam..
etc..

So, you can go for any of these, otherwise you can go for any other private firm..

hello friend,
as in now the banking sector has vast vacancies.
as you are b.tech in ece you can apply for IT OFFICER in IBPS/SBI
these are conducting exam for spesialist officer entrance exam by qualiying which you have face an interview and will join in any bank.
you can also apply for BANK P.O
since your percentage is 56, you can also apply for few PSUs.

sorry bro if you are sc/st then there may be a chance to secure a gov.job other wise there is no chance to get it as the minimum required percentage for govt.sector is 60%

You have not 60% in graduation so you are not applicable for some organization exam.If you have 60% above marks the you are applicable below organization.

But the better option for you to go for M-TECH or MBA or JRF or SRF or PHD.

Getting a Government Job is not an easy thing and it is possible only when you have thorough preparation for towards respective written exams.

You did not mention the category to which you belong. But for many of the Government Jobs, there is reservation for the candidates of SC/ST category. They are also having relaxation in
-percentage of marks required to be eligible for the entrance exam
-age criteria that is required to be eligible for the written exam
-even in cut off marks also.

If you are a candidate of SC/ST category, you can availa above benefits. If you are a candidate of General category, you should need to have extra preparation as you will not be given any relaxation in percentage of marks and in age criteria too.

First, I suggest you to decide upon the kind of Government Job which you are interested and the industry in which you want to start your career.

If you are interested in Government Job Opportunities in the core companies for ECE stream, then surf the official websites of those companies and know the available openings. If there are any openings which best suit your profile, you can apply for the same.

-to join Milliatry, Navy and Air Force
-Bank PO Exams
-to join as Assistant Manager in various banks
-Railway jobs
-to join in various job designations based on your stream
-Civil services

After B.Tech various government jobs are available.for government jobs you have to do hard work because every student wants government jobs.

UPSC conducts various exams for B.Tech student.UPSC conducts exams like Civil service exam,CDS and other various exam.For UPSC exams you have to do hard work.

After you can go for Banks exam.There are so many bank exams for graduate students you can apply for these jobs.

After B.Tech you can go for other exam like Railway exam.

For government jobs you have to read news paper daily all the notifiction are publised in news paper.

to get a govt job you should work very hard as the competetion is very high for Govt jobs.
the eligibility criteria for many govt jobs is graduation in any stream.
if you really want to get a govt job then start preparing and read daily news paper and know what is happening around you.

i have completed my b.tech.. wants to do MBA.. what are the scopes offered by this MBA in govt. sector...?

I am completed my btech(ECE) With 77% in 2011 .I have been working hard 4 job.I have attende Ibm,wipro,infosys,accenture s/w but didn't placed.I have written APGENCO,TRANCO,ECIL..during this search i have wasted my 1year valuable time and i didnt learnt any other in that year...Now i am confused with a clash between my mind and my fate..can u help/advice me wat can i do know?i have completley lost my confidence even though i am having gud subject knowledge i am not cracking job.May i join as faculty in engineering college with this useless % of marks?i am ashame of myself and my fate...can u help me wat r options 4 me?this is my lifes biggest decision

if u have 65% percentage u r elagible for all interviews.i have no conformation about if u completed b.tech or not.if not try to score good marks...

Iam completed my b.tech 2010-14 b.tech(ece) .secured 10 =76%,12=79%,b.tech=60% what will iam do. Iam not perfect in english please help me.
