++ You must Be Graduate In any Discipline from a recognised University. ++ Final year graduate candidates are also eligible. ++ And Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications are also apply for Civil services examination. ** Age limit : ++ The candidate must be between 21-30 years of age. ++ SC/ST have 5 years of age relaxation. ++ OBC candidate age limit maximum : 33 years. ** Important dates : :: Preliminary Exam 201 :: Notification Date : 17th May 2015 :: Last dates for Applications : 16th June 2015 :: Examination will be held on : 24th August 2015 :: Main Exam 2015 :: Examination will be held on : 14th December 2015 |

Eligibility for IAS or PCS is
Graduation in any Degree course. No percentage is required. Pursuing final year of Graduation. These students can also apply. Nationality should be India. Age for General category : 21-32 years Relaxation in upper age for OBC category : 3 years Relaxation for SC/ST category : 5 years Relaxation for physically disabled candidates : 10 years IAS Exam will be conducted by UPSC. For this year, you can not apply as the last date is over. Plan it for next year. |

Eligibility Criteria for IAS/IPS officer:-In any equivalent degree is required for this exam.Final year graduate students can also apply for this exam.
Age should be 21 to 30 years for general category students. Age should be 21 to 33 years for OBC students. Age should be 21 to 35 years for Sc/St students. Exam Pattern:-Preliminary Exam-It includes two exam .Both are related for general studies. Mains Exam:-It includes general English,Language paper,General Studies. Fourth exam is your optional subject. Science Maths Medical Science Mathematics Political Science Economics Geography Statistics Sociology Geology Physiology Commerce & Accounting |

For IAS, there is a civil services exam that is conducted by UPSC which means Union Public Service Commission.
Selection procedure is Civil Services Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview Since you want to know the eligibility, here it is Students who completed Graduation can apply for IAS or PCS. Age that is required for students is 21-32 years. Hectic competition is there for IAS. So, prepare well. Focus on your studies as well. |

Eligibility for IAS :-
1. Citizen :- Candidate must be of Indian Origin to apply for civil service. Even Nepali and Bhutani people are allowed bu they have to produce a certificate for the same. 2. Age :- 21-32 Maximum age is 32 for SC/ST Candidate. 3. attempts :- unlimited attempt for SC and ST Candidate 06 for general candidate and 09 for OBC Candidate 4. Studies :- Minimum graduation is required. However a final year student can also apply. 5. Percentage :- NO minimum percentage required to be eligible for the exam. The exam is conducted in 02 part (pre and mains) followed by an Interview. Next IAS exam is scheduled in the month of August 2016 with notification to be out in May/June 2016 |
