NDA stands for National Defence Academy. UPSC conduct this exam twice every year for candidates who are willing to join different wings of Defence like Army, Air Force and Navy. The academic qualification for this exam is 10+2 from a recognized board. You can not apply for this exam after completion of 10th only, you must do 10+2 also. For Navy and Air force, Mathematics and Physics is necessary in 10+2.

In other words, you can not be part of NDA with 10th as academic qualification. The age limit for unmarried male candidates is 16.5-19.5 years. If you have any more query, you can visit www.upsc.gov.in.

The educational qualification required for National Defence Academy Entrance exam is Senior Secondary passed or appearing from a recognized board.

After 10th board exams, you will not be eligible to apply for NDA examination. You must do 10+2 if you are interested in joining Defence. The best stream in 10+2 for NDA aspirant will be Science stream with PCM subjects.

No, not at all, 10th passed candidates are not eligible for NDA examination, only those candidates who has either done 10+2 or appearing for board exams are eligible for NDA/NA examination. For Indian army, you can do 10+2 in any stream but for Navy and Air force, science stream is necessary.

You must be between 16.5-19.5 years in order to apply for this exam. You should be unmarried male as female candidates are not eligible for this exam. Prepare well for mathematics from standard 11th if you want to clear NDA exam in first attempt. Keep a tap on general and recent knowledge.

No. You are not allowed to appear in NDA(National Defence Academy) examination after passing 10th standard. The minimum eligibility criterion to appear in NDA examination is 10+2 pass or any equivalent examination pass from a recognised institute.

NDA examination is conducted every year by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). Education qualification required for Army Wing of National Defence Academy is 12th pass or any 10+2 equivalent examination pass. For Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy the minimum educational qualification required is 12th pass or equivalent examination pass with Physics and Mathematics. So after 10th pass you will not be eligible for any one of this.
