Please tell me that can I join NDA after 10th?

Can I apply for NDA? Please advise me?

NDA is conducted by UPSC twice a year and it recruits candidates for Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air force.

Educational Qualification:

For Indian Army:

. Minimum educational qualification is 12th pass.

For Indian Navy and Airforce:

. Minimum educational qualification is 12th pass with PCM.

Eligibility criteria:

. Candidate must be a citizen of India

. Age should be in between 16.5-19 years at the time of application

. Only unmarried Male candidates are allowed for exam

Therefore, as per your qualification right now, you cannot join NDA. You can join it after 12th.

No, 10th standard candidate are not eligible for NDA exam but after completion of 12th standard, you can apply for NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service Exam. NDA examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidates are also eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Written examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 min .

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

No, you cannot join in NDA after completion of your 10th standard, To join in NDA, you need to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for candidates who are interested to join in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings.

To get admitted into NDA u have to appear in the written examination conducted by the NDA every year for the 12th appearing students.

To get the admission if u clear the written test then u will be called for the SSB interview which is a 5 days process, and if cleared that too then u will be called for the medical examination clearing which u will get the admission in the NDA.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy . The NDA exams are held twice by Union Public Service Commission by the name of NDA I ( in April ) and NDA II (in September ).

The NDA has three wings which are Indian Navy , Indian air force & Indian army .

Sorry to say that you are now not eligible for NDA examination. Because the minimum required Educational qualification is 10+2 in science stream with PCM as your subjects.

No , you cannot join after 10th examination as the minimum qualification is +2 passed or pursuing candidates with Physics , Mathematics and English as main papers in +2 .

The age of the candidates must be 16.5-19 years . The examination is conducted in two parts :---

1. Written : - The examination is total of 900 marks in which 300 marks of mathematics and 600 marks of General Ability . There is provision of negative marking also .

The candidates who qualifies in the written are called for next step .

2. SSB :- In the test the officers will check you that whether you have the quality or not . They will also take your medical .
