sorry to say you dear that you cannot join nda at this stage

the qualification for nda is

1. must be class 12th pass from a recognised board
2. must be a indian citizen
3.must be unmarried male
4. age limit should be between 16.5 to 19
5. must have studied maths,physics and chemistry for indian navy and air force wing
6. for indian army wing 12th pass with any stream is inveitable

so you clear your class 12th with these requirements you can definitely join nda if you pass nda which is conducted by upsc twice a year

You cannot join the National Defense Academy just after finishing the 10th standard.

To join the National Defense Academy , candidates have to crack the NDA Examination.

The NDA Exam is conducted every year twice by the Union Public Service Commission.

The NDA Exam is conducted as NDA-I in the month of April and NDA-II in the month of August.

The Minimum educational qualification that you should have in order to appear for the NDA Exam is 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

Since , you have just passed 10th , you need to wait for the next 2 years until you pass the 12th to appear for the NDA Exam.

Those candidates who are studying in standard 12th can also apply for the exam.

The Age Limit for the NDA Exam is 16.5-19 years with no relaxation in upper age to any candidate.

Only unmarried male candidates are allowed to apply for the NDA Exam.

Also , the candidates must have Indian Citizenship.

The NDA Exam is conducted as :

* Written Exam

* SSB Interview

* Medical Test

Always keep in mind that you need to pass all these three exams in order to join any wing of the National Defense Academy.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. The UPSC conducts NDA examination for those candidates who wish to join Indian Defense Services . Candidates who qualified NDA examination are recruited in the three wings of Indian Defense.

The three Wings of Indian Defense are:

a) Indian Army

b) Indian Navy

c) Indian Air Force

Now, As per your query I would like to tell you that you are ineligible for NDA examinations because after finishing 10th you can not apply for the examination. But you can appear in the examination after clearing 12th or pursuing 12th in the final year.

The other eligibility for NDA examinations are mentioned below:

a) Candidates cleared 12th or pursuing in the final year from a recognized board.

b) Age of candidates must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

c) There is no any relaxation to candidates in upper age is granted whether they belong to OBC or SC/ST.

d) Citizenship – Candidates should be an Indian Citizen or, A subject of Nepal / Bhutan.

e) Sex – Only Male candidates are allowed to appear in the examination. Female candidates can not apply for this examination. Female candidates can join Indian Defense through CDS examination which is also conducted by The UPSC.

f) Marital Status – Unmarried candidates only.

g) Fitness – Candidates should be Mentally and Physically fit.

Candidates must satisfy these eligibility to apply for the examination.

NDA examination is conducted in three stages:

a) Written Exam

b) Interview

c) Medical Test.

Candidates have to qualify these stages to be recruited as officer in Indian Defense. Candidates are recruited on the basis of their rank they achieved in the NDA examination.

Just after your 10th standard you cannot write NDA.Before that you have to complete your 12th standard.Because minimum qualification for NDA is 12th standard.NDA stands for national defense academy.NDA is to fill post in NAVY,ARMY,AIR FORCE.NDA conducted twice in a year by UPSC.The unmarried male candidates are eligible to write NDA,if they completed their 12th standard.

After 10th you have to take admission into 10+2 and after completion of 10+2 you will be able to apply for NDA exam.

So opt for any stream according to your interest because any stream students can apply for NDA exam.

But if you wish to join Air Force and Navy through NDA exam then you must pass 10+2 with Physics and Maths.

Age Limit:

Should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

You should be unmarried male.

Only Indian citizen are eligible to apply for it.

So get admission into 10+2 and along with studies prepare for NDA examination.
