Re: Am I eligible to appear in AIEEE after passing class 12th?
All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is an all-India level entrance test for admission to Engineering and Architecture or Planning programmes at the undergraduate level. AIEEE entrance examination is conducted every year by the Central board.
According to your academic qualification, you are eligible, but you did not mention here what percentage you got however, if you secured 50% marks for general category (while 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PH category) students are eligible for AIEEE examination. Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1987 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1982 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic. |

Yes you can give AIEEE 2013. I don't think your age will be more than 25 years but if it is then you are not eligible. Earlier a separate exam for AIEEE i.e. all India entrance test for engineering was held every year in month of march or April. But from 2013 on wards for taking colleges under AIEEE you have to give JEE2013 pre exam. Those students who will qualify in JEE pre they will be allowed to write JEE advance or main exam qualifying which they will be admitted in IITs. So all it comes under same rough. You don't have to prepare for IIT and AIEEE separately. You can write JEE preliminary exam and if you qualify it you will be eligible to take admission in colleges under AIEEE. Top colleges under AIEEE are:
GOOD LUCK! |
