i have already passed 12th in commerce but i wanted to make my carrier in aeronautics...as per my knowledge one cannot give 12th in both streams and can only apply for main subjects such as PCMB, so instead of 12th certificate i will receive marksheet if i do so....will i eligible for IIT/AIEE on such basis....plzz i need your help....

Since you are from commerce stream so you are not eligible to
apply for the engineering after 10+2.

Because for both exam PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY AND MATH is needed.............

This exam only give SCIENCE STREAM students..................

As you are from commerce stream so you are not eligible to appear for any of AIEEE and
ITT JEE because there educational qualification is different from yours.

atleast for both examination you should have physica and mathematica as a compulsory subject.

AIEEE and IIT examination are only for students with Science background beacause they offer course in engineering and Bsc and Msc.

These course are not for commerce graduate.
Commerce students can look forward in doing BBA, BCA, CA from various colleges.

No, You Are Not Eligible To Apply For AIEEE OR IIT JEE Examination.

Because To Apply For Both The Exams, You Have To Passed Your 12th Examination From Science Stream, Only Then You Can Apply For Engineering Entrance Examination.

For AIEEE Examination, You Have To Scored 50% Marks In Physics And Mathametics And You Also Have Any One Of The Optional Subjects - Chemistry, Bio-Technology, ComputerScience, Biology In Your 12th Exams.

And For IIT JEE, You Have To Pass In Your 12th Examination With Science Stream, Only Then You Can Apply For Both These Examination.

Because Commerce Students Are Bot Eligible To Apply For Engineering Entrance Exams. You Can Apply For AIEEE Examination Only When, If You Are Intrested To Do B.Arch Course In Future. Because To Apply For B.Arch, You Should Have Maths Subject In Your 12th Examination With Atleast 50% Marks.


But For Engineering Entrance, Commerce Students Are Not Eligible.

Eligibility Criteria of IIT JEE:
The minimum eligibility criteria for IIT JEE is passed 12th with minimum
60% marks in average in PCM.

Eligibility Criteria of AIEEE:

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for both AIEEE or IIT-JEE just because of the commerce background you have.

In order to appear for these exams, one should have Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects at your 10+2.

As you are from Commerce, you may not be having these subjects and so you are not eligible to appear for both these exams.

In addition one should have a minimum of 50% in 10+2 to be eligible for AIEEE.

You are not eligible to appear for AIEEE exam.

IIT-JEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

•Candidate must have either passed or appearing in class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.

no,u cann't appear in those exam.bcoz in aeronautics it required a pure science base.

iwant to know about AIEEE architecture enteance exam may possible by 12th in commerce stream

sir my daughter has taken commerce with MATHEMATIS AND ACCOUNTANCY in 10 1 .she wants to do B.arch .for entrance of AIEEE I know they don't ask science.but when we apply for colleges will they ask any science marks.pls clear my doubt.we are residing in Dubai.we have to take decision as early as possible.thank you

as you are in the commerce side that's why you are not allowed to give the entrance exams like iitjee or the aieee.

to give these exams you must pass 10+2 board exam or an equivalent exam with the subjects physics , chemistry , maths with more than 60% aggregate total in 12 th exam ( 55% for the reserved category candidates.)

No, you are not eligible to give IIT JEE or AIEEE because the compulsory subjects in 12th class to apply for IIT JEE or AIEEE are physics and maths and the optional subjects from which you have to choose one subject are biology, chemistry,computer science.

You can choose both the streams in 12th standard as asked by you in your second question.
You may go for PCMB in your 12th class.
