Dear sir,
I passed 12th in 2012.I appeared for bitsat2012.I got 276 marks.I want to appear in bitsat 2013.Am i eligible to appear.Sir please reply.

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology and science aptitude Test.
This exam is conducted by BITs every year.
The student must have passed class 12th or Equivalent from science stream.
You must have either got 80% Aggregate or have got 60% marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics.
Generally the notification for this exam comes in the month of december.

Eligibility For BITSAT

BITSAT (BITS Admission Test) is conducted every year for B.Tech admissions to 3 branches of BITS :-

>> BITS Pilani, Rajasthan
>> BITS Goa
>> BITS Hyderabad

A candidate can appear for the BITSAT only if :-

>> he/she has secured an aggregate of 80% or more in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 12th boards and must have also attained 60 or above in the individual subjects..

>> Candidate must have either completed 12th in the year of appearing for BITSAT or in the preceding year

So, yes you are are definitely eligible for appearing for the BITS 2013 since you have completed your 12th in 2012..

For B.Tech admission, BITSAT is conducted every year.

BITS has three branches for B.Tech admission are mentioned as below:-

* BITS Pilani, Rajasthan.

* BITS Hyderabad.

* BITS Goa.

The eligibility criteria required for BITSAT examination are prescribed as below:-

* With 80% marks in 12th in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects and 60% marks in the other subjects.

So, yes you are are definitely eligible for appearing for the BITS 2013 since you have completed your 12th in 2012..

is compartment people eligible

I am giving my 12th boards (CBSE) this year. Yesterday i had my physics paper and i think I'll have to give a compartment in physics.
My question is if i get a compartment in physics will i be eligible for JEE MAINS 2013? How will they take my marks for that 40% criteria?

BITSAT exams is conducted by BITS PILANI for admission to the BE/Btech Programmes

Eligibilty for the BITSAT exams is;
>> 12th Class Pass
>> Subjects in class 12th should be Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, english
>> Candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in individual subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
>> Total aggregate percentage of marks in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics should be 75% marks
>> Candidate should have passed the English Subjects

BITSAT exams are held in the month of May
Forms would come out in January 2014

Only candidates who have passed the 12th Class in the year 2013 and will pass in the year 2014 can apply for the BITSAT exams that will be held in 2014

when the exam dates that will be held in 2014

Do one with all other eligible criteria for BITSAT but passed 12th CBSE in compartment in the same year eligible for BITSAT exam.
