Am I eligible for Bitsat if I don't have 80% marks in boards?

sir,i have secured 68% in my 12th class board exam with biology as my optional subject and an average of 68% in pcm,am i eligible for bitsat exam 2010.

sorry dear,

you are not eligible for it,you should have to score 80 percentage in your class 12,but your scoe is only 68 percentage.so you are not eligible for it.

very unfortunately i have to say that you might not be able to attend the bitsat online exam.......as the minimum cutoff for appearing the exam has been raised to 80% in 10+2......
But dont get disappointment u are eligible to appear for all other entrance exam like--
aieee,viteee,manipal,state CET, and many other private institutes which are very good.....

But i t doesnt mean that bITSAT is only option
As your subject is biology you hav wide spread oppurtunities so dont be dissapointed you san have better colleges to join

I am sorry to say, you are not eligible for BITSAT exam. you need to score 80% aggregate in pcm/pcb in class 12th.
but don,t worry, you are eligible for many other exams. You can choose any of subjects of your intrest and move ahead. There are many institutes that take students with this much % without any problem. So be calm and prepare for the other tests.

your pcm marks should be 80% to get admission in bitsat

heyy dont feel bad ... it depends on the marks in pcm and not all the subjects.. but u hav other options like jee and many in bio field

This is an answer to rahghu's query that whether he'll be eligible for BITSAT , 80% markas are required at 12th level with 60% marks in PCM. percentage in 10th doesn't matter here.

hi smruti i want to tell you that you are not eligible to write BITSAT,because the minimum educational qualification required for BITSAT is:

that you should have passed 12th class with more than 80% in PCM,and since you are having 68% only.so you are not eligible.

try for other exams like:

IIT-JEE
AIEEE
VITEEE
WEBJEE,etc

i am sorry but the last date to apply for aieee is over,
you can apply next year

@ shweta no dear you are not eligible for applying to BITS this year you can apply for it next year after scoreing the required percentage.

@ yelumalai sorry dear date for applying to AIEEE 2010 is over,the last date for availability of form was 30.12.2009 and recipt of form was 12.01.2010.

hi,

you are not eligible for writing the BITSAT-2010
because you are not fulfilling the basic criteria for enterance exam ie

--- you should have scored 80% in your 12th class.

but dont worry there are several other enterance exams to write like:

AIEEE,
IIT-JEE
VITEEE etc.

Sorry dear you are not eligible for it,the eligibility criteria says- candidate must have scored atleast 80% aggregate in there class 12 and 60% in PCM.

So,you are not eligible for it.

But dont worry there are many entrance's for which you can appear like-IIT-JEE,ISAT(newly introduced),AIEEE etc.

Sorry..you can not give BITSAT Exam........
But can give AIEEE, IIT-JEE & VITEE Exams........
So prepare for this exam.....

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT:

To be eligible to appear in BITSAT a candidates needs to pass 12th with atleast 80% marks in aggregate in PCM. Also a candidate should score a minimum of 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Only those candidates who have passed 12th in 2009 or are appearing in 2010 are eligible to appear for BITSAT.

for the bits minimum marks in 12th should be 80%,but your marks it not upto this so you are not eligible,and you can not fill up the form.

concentrate on other examination as this is not the end of the road.....you may appear in exams for institutes having better reputation than colleges of BITS.
or, if you are intent on appearing give an improvement examination and secure 80% in pcm

and 60% in each P C M group ...
and also ypur board have english as a
subject then you are eligible ....

sorry dear friend you are not eligible for bitsat exam because you have only 68% marks in 12th standard .for giving this exam you should have at least 80% marks in 12th.but don't worry you can sit for many engineering entrance exam like
1.iit jee
2.aieee
3.vit vellore
4.manipal
and state level engineering entrance exam.
