Am i eligible to apply for common PO exam after securing 59% in graduation and 64% in MBA
I have secured 59% in graduation and 64% in MBA ....Am i eligible to apply for the common PO exam 2013...

You have adequate qualifications to apply for the position of Bank P.O. Graduation is the basic qualification required for bank P.O. IBPS has not specified any percentage requirements to apply. You can also apply for bank clerk and Specialist Officer Positions. Notification for the exam can be expected by the first quarter of 2013.

ya sure you are eligible for this bank po exam. and for you there is having a great opportunity that there is 63000 vacancies in the field of banking sector till the month of march as have been announced by p.chitambaram our finance minister so be ready good luck..

I Think you are talking about the IBPS Bank PO Common written Examination. If you are talking about this then i want to tell you that you are absolutely eligible for the IBPS Bank PO Examination as per your educational qualifications. The Minimum Educational Qualification Required for IBPS PO Examination is : * you must have completed your graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university. * You must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in graduation if you belong to General Category. * Relaxation of 5 % marks is granted to students from Reserved Categories. this is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. You can appear for the Common PO exam by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services on the basis of your post graduation degree. Your marks in the graduation course are not enough to appear for this entrance exam.
Earlier there was no percentage criteria for IBPS Bank PO as mentioned by some in their answers but this is about to change in 2013. As per the new rules by IBPS that have been approved by the Indian government, there is minimum percentage criteria for IBPS Bank PO which is 60 percent. It was on the expected lines since the minimum criteria for Clerk exam was made to graduation by IBPS on the request of 19 participating Public Sector banks. The notification about the exam will be released in August by the IBPS. All the new changes will be mentioned in it. The exam is expected to take place in September 2013. IBPS Bank PO 2013 Eligibility 1. The candidate should be Indian citizen. 2. Minimum of graduation degree. 3. At least 60 percent marks in it. 4. Computer knowledge is important. Either diploma/degree in Computers or you must have studied it as subject in 12th or college. 5. Age limit now will be 20 to 28 years. 6. Relaxation for OBC is 3 years. 7. The relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years. 8. PWD can appear till 38 years for IBPS Bank PO.
