To get admission in B.ed your graduation percentage is considered & that must be at least 50%.But as you have only 42% marks so you are ineligible for doing B.ed.However you have secured a very good percentage in your M.A(Eco) & you are eligible for the NET exam as the minimum percentage for NET exam is 55%.So from now get yourself prepare for it & achive a higher post i.e Lecturer.Good wishes to you!

Dear friend,
The main eligibility criteria for doing B.Ed is to get an aggregate % of 55% (graduation and masters combined). And you must have studied least one of the teaching subjects during graduation
good luck

For B.ed Entrance Exams, You Have To Scored Minimum 45% Marks in Your Bacholar Degree Or In Graduatio. But According to You, You Are Not Eligible Because You Have Not Scored Minimum 45% Marks In B.A.

Eligiblity Creteria for B.ed -

Bachelor’s degree or any other qualification recognised equivalent thereto from a
recognised university with a minimum of 50 % and

below, with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate in each of these two subjects. (All
the papers/ courses offered by the candidate in each of the two subjects at the bachelor’s degree to be taken into consideration for the purpose of calculation of each of the subject percentage)

OR

Masters degree in Commerce from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

So, You Have Scored More than 55% Marks In Your Master Degree. So, I Think You are Eligible.

Dear Kavita
If you are going to take admission in B.Ed, then one must have 45% in graduation.
But there are some universities (like; Jammu univ. MDU Rohtak univ. etc) offers admission if one have 40% marks in graduation.
So you go with these universities.
best of luck

Hi!

Yes, of course you are eligible for getting admission in B.Ed course.

B.Ed eligibility:
Though the minimum educational requirement for Bed. in almost all the top colleges/universities like Lucknow university,Ahmedabad university is a graduate degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks for general candidates & 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

But there are few other good B.Ed colleges which accepts students with less than 50% marks (mostly 45% to 40 %). You can apply in these colleges.
