Am I eligible to become a Pilot in Indian Air Force being a candidate of pursuing 1st year of B.Sc? Which Entrance Exam should I give for this?
i am the student B.Sc 1st year.its my dream to join indian air force as a pilot.m i eligible for it?if yes,which enternce exam i should give for it?

Indian Air Force Pilot Entry
Dear Friend If you have passed 12th with Maths and Physics then you can apply for entry in Indian Air Force as a Pilot or Flying Branch of Indian Air Force. There are three different ways of entry into the Flying Branch of Indian Air Force. These are as under; 1. Entry through Combined Defence Services Every year UPSC conducts CDS examination twice. You can apply for the exam during final year of graduation or after passing graduation. 2. NCC Special Entry If you are an NCC 'C' certificate holder then you can apply for this entry scheme. You can apply for the exam during final year of graduation or after passing graduation provided that you score 60% or more in B.Sc. 3. Flying (Pilot) through Short Service Commission examination For this entry you will have to appear SSC examination. You can apply for the exam during final year of graduation or after passing graduation provided that you score 60% or more in B.Sc. Adventure is definitely in the air and yes you are eligible under the graduation category after you complete your B.sc.
All India Selection Tests are conducted at the Airmen Selection Centers (ASCs) located all over India as per schedule whereas the Recruitment Rallies are conducted from time to time in selected areas/regions of particular States/Union Territories of the country. Hi Dear
After complete your 12th science with math and physics as a subject then you are eligible for entry in to Air force flying branch. After complete your B.SC then you also eligible to go this branch. You entry to give different entrance exam like:- *NDA *CDS *AFCAT There are different training system in flying branch like:- *Ab initio pilot course *Transport conversion pilot course *Qualified flying instructor course *Test pilot course *Flight test engineer course are different test course in flying branch. As you are in 1st year of B.Sc course then you will not be eligible for the flying branch of Indian Air force wright now.. For that you have to qualify in CDS exam. Through CDS exam you can join in Indian Air force.. Eligibility for CDS exam:- For Air force:- 1.Candidate has to complete the graduation in any trade but must have maths and physics in 12th. 2.Final year candidate can also apply for it. 3.Age should be in between 19-23 years. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 5.candidate should be unmarried male. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. So, complete the B.Sc course with good percentage of aggregate, then go for it. All the best. |

Flying Branch, 2. Technical Branch, 3. Ground Duty Branch. As you want to become a pilot so you are in Flying Duty branch. Now i have suggest you the eligible criteria for this aspect which are given below : 1. Age :: 19 to 23 years as on 01 july 2012 i.e. born between 2nd july 1989 to 1 july 1993(both dates inclusive). 2. Educational Qualification :: Graduates in any discipline from a recognized university having 60% or more than 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed 10+2 th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university having 60% or more than 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together. 3. Physical Standard :: i.) Height : minimum 162.5 cm and more than this ii.) Weight : in between 60 to 80 kg iii.) There are the three modes of entry for graduates to join the Flying Branch :- 1) Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) 2) National Cadet Corps(NCC) 3) Women (Short Service Commission) You can go for Fighter pilot, or a Helicopter pilot, or a Transport pilot in the Flying branch. Eligibility Criteria IAF Pilot:- 1) Age:- 19 to 23 years 2) Marital Status :- Single 3) Nationality :- Indian 4) Gender :- This is applicable to both men and women. 5) Educational Qualifications :- Must be a graduate in any stream with Physics and Mathematics in 10+2. Firstly you have to give CPT exam after 12th and if you qualify then you can become CA

I HAVE 49% IN 10TH STANDARD & 45% IN 12TH STANDARD, BUT 70% IN B.SC ELECTRONICS HONOURS. AM I ELIGIBLE FOR CDSE AIRFORCE EXAM?
