Bharat Sanchar Nigam limited one of the biggest government telecom sector company .

If You have BE or B-Tech or equivalent in Below given department from a recognized Institution/University , then eligible for JTO TELECOM department.

i. Telecommunication
ii. Electronics
iii. Radio
iv. Computer
v. Electrical
vi. Information Technology

If You have BE or B-Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University , then eligible for JTO CIVIL department.

If You have BE or B-Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University , then applicable for JTO ELECTRICAL Department.

Sorry to say that you are not applicable for BSNL JTO Exam because you are in 3rd year of your degree course.When you are in final year of your degree course then you are applicable for BSNL JTO Exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for reserved category .

Age relaxation for BSNL JTO Exam:-

Govt. servants upto 5 years .
BSNL employees upto 5 years.
For SC/ST candidates upto 5 years;
For OBC Candidates upto 3 years;
For General Category PH candidates upto 10 years

Pattern for BSNL JTO Exam:-

Exam will consists of following section:
Section-I : Engineering stream :50 questions
Section-II : Engineering stream :50 questions
Section-III: General Ability Test : 20 questions

The acronym for BSNL is Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited.

The acronym for JTO is Junior Telecom Officer.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for BSNL JTO examination at present time.

BSNL conducts JTO examination for the recruitment of telecom officers every year.

The eligibility criteria required for the BSNL JTO examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any track for JTO(Civil department) from any accredited college or university.

* Completion of B.E./B.Tech in Computer/Radio/Telecommunication/Electrical/Information Technology/Electronics for JTO(Telecom department).

* Age limit:- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC, 5 yrs for SC/ST and 10 yrs for PWD contendors.

* Nationality:- Indian.

BSNL has been calling JTO officers for serving in BSNL region according to the vacancy available every year.This time, there is no notification about how many vacations will be there or not, as soon as it is out, you can apply for it. So, they call each year, but there is no guarantee also that they will call this year, but lets see for a positive response.

So, Coming to the eligibility, as for you, you are in 3rd year electrical, branch wise, you are eligible, but you must finished your graduate first, you can apply in final year or after passing your engineering.

Anyone who have done their graduate from

i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical,
vi. Information Technology,
vii. Instrumentation.
can apply for this exam also.

Pattern of exam:-

Mainly this exam consists of three sections like:-

Section-I : Engineering stream :50 questions
Section-II : Engineering stream :50 questions
Section-III: General Ability Test : 20 questions

So, prepare your subjects, it will be MCQ types, and improve your mental ability and vocabulary.This will help you.

Since you are in the 3rd Year, so you are not eligible to apply for the BSNL JTO Exams.

Eligibilty to apply for the BSNL JTO Exams is:
Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:

Computer
Telecommunication
Information Technology
Radio
Electrical
Electronics
Final year BE/BTECH candidates can also apply.

Age: Maximum age to apply is 30 years
OBC candidates can apply till 33 years
SC/ST candidates can apply till 35 years

As you are in the 3rd year of your engineering you cannot apply for BSNL
JTO, but it is the right time to start the preparation for the exam.


The eligibility criteria of BSNL JTO is:-

Candidate must posses engineering degree in one of the following field
>>Computer science
>> Electronics
>>Electrical
>> Information technology.

>>general awareness paper
>> and 2 technical papers
