i am studying third year BE EEE ... shall i apply for jto exams..

Hi,

The eligibility criteria of the BSNL-JTO exam is that a candidate should have graduation degree in any one of these engineering courses:
Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio/Instrumentation/Computer Science.

Final year students in these disciplines also can apply for this exam.

As your stream belongs to the electronics department, you are eligible to apply.

But you cannot apply for this exam now. when you will be in your final year, you can apply for the same.

As you are in 3rd year so you cannot apply for JTO exams because for this post graduation in btech is required . So only btech continuing students can apply.

no he can not apply untill he will not finished their b.tech degree.

Third year engineering students can't apply for BSNL JTO examination.

You can apply for the examination if you are in the final year of B.Tech.
or after completing B.Tech.

Also you should fulfill the age limitation which is
21-30 years for GEN students
21-33 years for OBC students and
21-35 years for Sc/ST/PD students.

You cannt appear for the exam this year, only students of final year and passed out are eligible for this.
Further eligibility are :
Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:
i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical.
vi. Information Technology

Age: The applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates. However, this age is relaxable as per standing instructions on this subject for:-
i) Govt. servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.;
ii) BSNL employees upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the BSNL;
iii) For Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes candidates upto 5 years;
iv) For OBC Candidates upto 3 years;
v) For General Category PH candidates upto 10 years ; (for SC/ST 15 years and for OBC 13 years)

As you said that you are in 3rd year that means 6thsemister in EEE Steam,you will not able to give the exam,as the ask all the semister paper for to apply for the exam.you can apply in final year, if they mention that only final year students and passout student s are eligible.in that case u may not able to give the exam.so try from final year onwards by giving exams,now concentrates on the previous year papers of BSNL JTO question.by the time you reach finally year you will tharow with the concept.so you can crack the exam at first attemt....all the best

No,you cannot apply as a 3 year student.if you are in final year student then you can but at the time of final selection you have to produce your original certificate .

B.E. or B.Tech. - 3rd year students are not eligibile for BSNL JTO examination.

Minimum Eligibility for BSNL JTO examination: -

1. Graduation in any engineering stream with minimum 65 % marks from a regonised institute / university.

2. Final year (4th Year) appearing candidates can also apply.

3. Nationality - Indian

4. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years

sorry to say but JTO exam conducted by BSNL is only for students who are in fourth year or they have completed their engineering .

am b.tech 3year information technology can apply for jao

sir i have an experience of 3 years in telecom but i have done btech correspondently from rajasthan vidyapeeth university i am also having 3 years diploma in electronics engineer .so i want to know that a person with correspondence degree in of b.tech can apply for jto or not

what r the jobs that b.tech(eee) 4th year students should apply??
