Am I eligible for CTET and TET? I have scored 43% marks in B.Com Hons
I am M.com , B.ed but I secured only 43% marks in B.com (hons.) and I am working in private school teaching in plus two for last 8 years. am i eligible for ctet and tet , if not give suggestion what to do as ctet and has become compulsory in my school

No,you are not eligible for CTET and TET because you have secured less than the minimum required percentage to become eligible for the exam.
CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test . The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi conducts the CTET for making appointment of eligible candidate as teacher Central Schools. The candidate who wishes to apply for class I-V should have Senior Secondary exam with at least 50%(45% for reserved category) marks.The candidate who are in the final year of their diploma can also apply for the examination . The candidate who wishes to apply for class VI-VIII should have Graduation degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks.There is relaxation of 5% marks for backward categories candidates The minimum age limit to apply for the CTET is 22 years.There is no upper age limit to apply for the CTET exam. The full form for TET is Teacher Eligibility Test. TET is an entrance test for those candidates who wishes to become a teacher. The TET test is conducted by both Central government and State Government of India. TET Entrance exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 is for Class 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for class 6 to 8. The educational qualification required for TET Entrance exam is graduation degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate. |

CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE Delhi for recruitment as teacher in CBSE affilated schools.
TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the state government for appointment of teacher in government based schools. These examination are conducted for -Primary level for I-V -Elementary level for VI-VIII Eligibility criteria for primary level is Candidate must have Higher secondary certificate with minimum 50% marks and two year diploma course in Elementary education. Eligibility criteria for elementary level is candidate must have graduate degree in any disciple from any recognized university with minimum of 50% marks and completed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed or 2 year diploma course in Elementary Education. So, you are not eligible to apply for CTET as you have not cross the minimum marks necessary to apply. |

No.You can not apply with aggregate below 50% for CTET as per Qualification eligibility criteria.CTET(Central Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted by CBSE to recruit the teachers for Class I to Class VIII.

Hi i am from west bengal.I have 52% marks in english Honours but Honours and pass combined marks is less than 50% and have completed my B.ed also . Am i eligible for ctet exam. Plz reply urgently as tomorrow is the last date of application.

Sir/madam I have got 55% in 12 class and 55% in graduation but 40% in 10 class can i eligible for ctet (prt) after achieving approximately 60% in diploma certificate of school teaching

SIR/MADAM you are not eligible for CTET and TET exam as you are not fulfill the criteria to appear in this exam.
CTET exam is conducted by Central Government of India whereas TET exam is conducted by State Government. The basic criteria to appear in this exam is as follow. 1.candidate must have Graduation degree with atleast 50% marks from any recognised university or institution of India. 2. Candidate must have B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) OR BTC degree. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. CTET or TET conducted for recruiting teacher for primary level as well as junior level. 1. Primary level (1st to 5th class). 2. Junior level (6th to 8th class). |

I have secured 56% in my H. S. C,48%in B. Com,completed my B. Edu with English and mathematics as my subjects with 60% from Singhania University which is U. G. C recognized college.. Recently realized that it's not n.c.t.e .Please help me understand if I am eligible for C. T. E.T and T. E. T

If i have done my graduation in b.com and got 62 %and i want to appear i WB ssc exam of upper primary as English teacher but in my graduation there was only 50marks papar of English. then is i am eligible
