Hello, I am TUSHAR. As per your query; you are not eligible to do M.Sc.
We have no Criteria for taking M.Sc. for the students who doesn't belong to Science Stream in our country. You need to have Science background for eligibility to do Masters in Science. I hope that this is enough information. Take care, Good Luck!!! |

You must note, that in order to pursue the M.Sc Mathematics degree you must completed any of the following degree.
B.Sc (maths) / B.Math/ B.- Statistics / B.E / B.Tech. But as you mentioned that you have completed BA so you are not eligible for it as it's does not co- related with M.Sc mathematics and also its not eligible for the course. There are lots of courses and lots of things which you can do further. |

Hi ,
The basic eligibility that any renowned college ask for M.Sc Maths is :-
However you can do it from Sikkim Manipal University/distance,but it has very less value. If you don't have Maths as main subject in BA,I think you should not go for it. The duration of the entire course is 2 years distributed as four semesters of 6 months each. Some of the top colleges that offer M.Sc. in Mathematics are:
Also many Universities conduct entrance exam of their own.For example Delhi University. It reserves 50% of its seats for merit basis admissions. |

Re: Am I eligible to do M.Sc Maths after completion of BA?
M.Sc in Mathematics refers to Master of Science in Mathematics and same is master's degree course of two years for which the minimum educational qualification required is a bachelor degree course with Mathematics as main subject in at least four semesters ( two years ) from a recognized university.
So having completed your bachelor's degree with arts stream you are not eligible for pursuing M.Sc in Mathematics degree course from a UGC recognized university. |
